pretty sure that that's Aoi Nanase work there. she's been doing Anime and VG based art since the early 90's or so.
in fact, she pretty much started her early Dojin career on SAMURAI SPIRITS/SHODOWN Nakoruru fanart, IIRC.
nice to see her rendition of my Miku-chan. lends her a wonderfully nostalgic quality...
oh, and i won her as the only bidder!! Yay!!
Way to go! Be sure to take a picture of her on your shelf when you get her!![]()
I was always fond of this one. I'm not sure if it fits in with the "theme" of this thread....but I like it.
I love this game, so here's some Sakura from DeathSmiles...she's 15...good enough, eh?....AND it's a really good piece of art.:

wth, I always thought she was a cyber, not a full robot!?
***Visualshock! Speedshock! Soundshock! Now is time to the 68000 heart on fire!***
Now that is something I can't answer. Haven't seen the movie since it came out...on VHS!

Always wanted to see that, what is the best way to watch it? bluray? special edition dvd? japanese/english?
I dunno. I wasn't the biggest fan of it, to begin with.

Ghost in the Shell is awesome. (That's what you're referring to right?)
I haven't watched blurays at all, so I'd get a DVD and I guess I'd get the English version (so I could read the box), but I'd watch it in Japanese with English subtitles, assuming it has the option...
crazy thing is... i have YET to see the movie, even once, and yet i actually have an LD copy of the film!!
(never was a particular fan of GiTS, but i got the LD copy in a large lot of Anime LDs off the PORTLAND (OREGON) CRAIGSLIST a few years back)
thanks! will do!!
you seem to have effectively gotten me on a real TwinBee kick here! i'd LOVE to find this Princess Melora figure;
unfortunately, from what little i could find out about her, she seems to be solid resin figure, probably a limited production unpainted garage kit
only sold in very limited quantities during a Japanese hobby show such as WonderFestival;
apparently there was a matching Pastel in the same series;
couldn't find and painted/finished examples anywhere though; just that raw casting there...
finally, there is this quite Adorable SD/Chibi Pastel;
while i'm really no particular big fan of SD/Chibi, i cannot deny that they managed to make her rather irresistible there, IMHO...
I also have it on LD and haven't watched it yet! Although I saw it on VHS when I was 10 years old.
To be honest, I don't remember it being very exciting, but to each their own I guess.
Princess Melora was featured in the PC-Engine game "Detana! Twinbee". She looks beautiful, too bad she's so rare.
