yeah, kind of a gip, considering the kits generally sell for $15/$20.00ea.
for that, you get lovely boxart and a re-mold of a 20+ year old model of an SDed military aircraft.
HASEGAWA COULD have went all out, and included a perfectly sculpted, 3/6in. figure of the girl in question,
and i'm pretty sure that these things would have really flown off the shelves as a result, in Japan, at least...

I wish I had this figure! I saw her on Yahoo Auctions Japan several months ago for what looked like around $55 or so. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll ship outside Japan on that site, but I'm not sure, as I only know a little Japanese.
they will. use "RINKYA" an english-language middle-man agency for bidding on YAHOO! JAPAN AUCTIONS;

Oh, to be 11 years old again. My first official anime boner. Of course, in the American version this was concealed by steam. ...that didn't stop me...

Nice! I may have to jump into the second picture with a microfiber cloth and dust underneath those remotes!
That Panasonic digital clock is nice too, how long have you owned it? Speaking of clocks, I always wanted to own a Flip Clock, although some vintage ones are quite expensive.

trying to remember what series she's from, i know i've seen her several times before.
her name is Anice, she's from some late-1980's OVA series, and her artist was one Michitaka Kikuchi. of that i am quite certain. but beyond that, i'm drawing a total blank...
EDIT; Ah, now this is interesting; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kia_Asamiya
