Some games you go back and give another chance to, and you'll be pleasantly surprised!
...MK3 on the Genesis ain't one of them though. Well at least I only payed a few bucks for it.
I'd rather be playing Time Killers...

Shaq-Fu
I second both Batman Forever and Shaq-Fu, their negative reputation is greatly overstated.
For me though I'd say Wolverine Adamantium Rage. I remember having a love hate relationship with that game. Then I didn't play it for 10 years, then played it again and hated it, now I picked it up again and it's not all bad. It looks great, but the controls are wonky. Still I managed to get used to them and can now enjoy the awesome graphics and level designs in this game.
Also, Chester Cheetah Wild Wild Quest![]()
Ready to print game covers and cart labels: http://www.mediafire.com/?5gm45wyxr3xvv
I also agree that Shaq-Fu isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I'd have to say "Wonderboy In Monster World". The first time I played it, I barely spent any time at all with it, and put it away. Then about a year ago, I finally plugged it back in my Genesis, and beat it. Great game.![]()
For me Rocket Knight Adventures. Hated for a long time, until I got the cart.
Vectorman 1 n 2
Thought both games were pretty boring, until I have em a honest chance.
solid action.
Shaq-Fu
Sonic Spinball
Remembered it being incredibly average but when I picked it up and played it again after all these years I actually found that I really enjoyed it!
To be this good takes AGES, to be this good takes SEGA!
This is gonna sound weird, but I did not like Sonic the Hedgehog as a kid. I mostly ignored that free Sonic 2 cartridge that came with the system until I played it again when I was 16 and said, wow, what the hell was I missing out on when I was 5? Granted, I sucked at video games back then, but I wish I had given it a better chance when I was younger.
Sonic 3D blast....didn't care for it at first (like most people), but after finishing my Neutron and having portable genesis action, I've been playing the crap out of it...still haven't beaten it yet, but i've been striving for perfection in those bonus stages XD.
Ranger-X. Hated it now it's one of my favorite games ever.
Soulstar. Hated it, now I've beaten it on hard... Not one of my favorite games ever though.
Ecco The Dolphin
I remember having it as a kid and thinking it was the worst game I owned. It seemed hard, lame, and pointless. For years when people asked me what my least favorite games were, I would always throw in Ecco.
Fast forward 17 years or so, and I picked up both Ecco 1 and 2 at a local pawn shop for $3 each, and gave them another chance. I found myself really enjoying them, if they were a little hard.
Then, I found the Sega CD versions... and I fell in love. Beautiful music, much better checkpoint system, gorgeous graphics, unique story, very memorable levels... I love it. The game is a masterpiece!
you guys are crazy!
shaq-fu was awful, remains awful and will always be a pile of shit
