The Gamecube is the console to own if you are a fan of Resident Evil. Every major Resident Evil game with the exception of 5 is available on the Gamecube. The Gamecube version of Soul Calibur 2 is by far the best version. Most of the Sonic games of that Generation are best on Gamecube because Gamecube was the lead development platform for the titles that weren't originally on Dreamcast. Gamecube Phantasy Star Online was the best version around until Blue Burst came along. And you can still play it online along with the Dreamcast and PC versions. You can't do that with the Xbox version.
So basically games I find that make the gamecube worth owning are as follows:
Legend of Zelda Windwaker
Windwaker Pre-Order Bonuses (Ocarina of Time, Anniversary disc)
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (If you don't own a Wii)
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2 Echos
Star Wars Rogue Sqaudron 2: Rogue Leader
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mariokart Double Dash (I actually prefer this over the Wii version)
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil 2 (If you don't own it on PS1 or Dreamcast)
Resident Evil 3 (If you don't own it on PS1 or Dreamcast)
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Code Veronica X (If you don't own it on Dreamcast)
Sonic Adventure DX (If you don't own it on Dreamcast)
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (If you don't own it on Dreamcast)
Sonic Heroes (Best version)
Sonic Gems Collection
Starfox Assault
Kirby AirRide
Soul Calibur 2
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2
Phatasy Star Online Episode 3 C.A.R.D Revolution
F-Zero GX
Pikmin ( sucks )
Pikmin 2 ( sucks )
Luigi's Mansion ( sucks )
Super Mario Sunshine ( sucks)
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Kirby Air Ride
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat ( sucks and is super lame )
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker ( Mega fucking awesome and great )
LOZ: Collector's Edition ( Rehashed bullshit )
LOZ: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest ( More rehashed ported bullshit )
LOZ: Four Swords Adventures ( Barely counts as a real game )
LOZ: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echos
Mario Party 4 ( Your opinions offically suck now because all mario parties are awful )
Mario Party 5 ( God awful )
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door ( shit compared to super mario rpg )
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Viewtiful Joe ( Also on Ps2 )
Viewtiful Joe 2 ( Also on ps2 )
TimeSplitters 2 ( On xbox and ps2 also )
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (best on Xbox though and on ps2 )
Baiten Kaitos ( Silly card game )
Baiten Kaitos Origins ( Still a silly card game )
Ikaruga ( Dreamcast port )
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 4 ( Also on ps2 )
Skies of Arcadia ( Dreamcast port )
Soul Caliber 2 ( on xbox and ps2 also )
Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader
So out of all those titles you just named only 9 of them are truly good or can only be enjoyed on Gamecube. Most of that stuff came out on other systems. It's not blind fanboyism that makes the GC a $10 system. Its that almost every single one of its games can be played on another one and the ones it does have really arent worth owning a whole system for. Plus you forgot the best game on the system Tales of Symphonia.
Fuck, I could glue Mario Kart Double Dash in the disc drive and it's still worth having for $10.
It's $10.
You can't get a decent hand job for $10.
@Clessy: I'm not even going to look at your post. You shit on everything.
Boy, it sure shows off your e-peen to hate on the Gamecube.
I own those other systems too and they don't have shit. Correct that, shit is all they do have, unless you're counting Jp language imports and anthologies for the PS2. Even Sega's games on the Xbox are garbage: Orta is terrible, losing hands down to Starfox Assault despite the cheesy, acting-free voice overs in the latter. PS2 is great for those who wish to, say, pick up the last game KID ever made, or collections of stuff already elsewhere (such as Taito Legends), but such collections are only valid for players like myself exploring a new field; for those who've already played all the Samurai Shodowns/pick-your-port they're quite worthless. Yeah, it has some RPGs. And the Xbox has Morrowind. And that's it.
Gamecube also has Chaos Field Expanded. Not an exclusive, I know, but I'd rather play it on the GC controller than the DC's. And of course F-Zero GX, the best racing game since Wipeout appeared on the Saturn. The always discerning Loggo beat me to it, but it deserves a seconding.
The vinyl-black model looks best.
Just don't go near that Donkey Kong Jungle Beat stuff.
edit = add Alien Hominid (yes it's on those other systems. Which raises the question, why don't the Xbox and PS2 get some of their own games?)

And those gba players are for like $10 these days, I bought mine later around after its released for $30
EDIT:Defend the gamecube, I to think its a great console with many good games, but don't say the ps2 had shit. It had many great titles, I remember when GTA Vice city came out and EVERYONE I knew who had a ps2 had that game and thought it was the shit to the max.

***Visualshock! Speedshock! Soundshock! Now is time to the 68000 heart on fire!***
Whatever, haters gonna hate. Thank for hating the Gamecube. It means fewer people to drive prices up to retarded levels. I'm gonna go back to enjoying my good games for low prices.
Clessy, many of the games you pointed out as being on other systems are usually better on the Gamecube with a few exceptions.
Resident Evil 4 may be on the PS2, but it's horrible:
The only version better is the Wii version. Soul Calibur 2 may be on Xbox and PS2, but it's generally considered that the Gamecube version is the best. Not only does it look better than the PS2 version (and possibly the Xbox version), it has the best unique character. Ikaruga may be a Dreamcast port, but up until the XBLA release it was the only US release of the game. Ocarina of Time may be a port, but it's the only US release of Master Quest. The Collectors Disc is a nice compilation of the older Zelda games for those who don't already own them. Viewtiful Joe may be on PS2 but it probably looks better on Gamecube. Paper Mario may be shit compared to Super Mario RPG in your opinion. But if you are going to say that I might as well say FFX is shit compared to FFVI therefore it's not a good game to bring up to defend the PS2.
