I think so, although I do know that there were some games by Nintendo that used the broadband modem for LAN play. Mario Kart Double Dash is the only one I can think of though.
It kind of begs the question why they even released the broadband adapters if Nintendo wasn't even going to use them. Couldn't they have just released patches for games that were already out and make it so you could play online with them? That was one of the problems that I had with the system, all my friends had Xbox Live and I couldn't play anything with them.
So? What does that have to do with someone saying they don't like Sega games on the Xbox and Yuji Naka? All of Yuji Naka's console games that generation were developed with either the Dreamcast or the Gamecube as the lead platform.
As for online games on the Gamecube there were the following:
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2 Plus
Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 C.A.R.D Revolution
For LAN games I know of the following:
Mariokart Double Dash
Kirby AirRide
1080 Avalanche
However with Xlink Kai you can get these games to play online.
That's fine and dandy that he drives a Ferrari. What's it have to do with someone not liking Outrun 2 or Panzer Dragoon Orta on the Xbox when Yuji Naka had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with those games?
The only games Yuji Naka made on consoles that Generation were done with Dreamcast or Gamecube as the lead platforms. If anything that shows that Yuji Naka preferred the Gamecube to the other consoles.
Guys, that's actually a Lotus Elise.
Level down.
Obviously. They still sure as hell don't. Look at the wii. Just awful online system.
Btw guys you know Yuji Naka hasnt been actively involved in the development of any game since Sonic Adventure 2......
Yeah it absolutely sucked that Ps2 was the lead platform for PSU. PSU is a step back visually over what PSO e 1 and 2 are. Of course im not talking about the stages that are just straight from the Dreamcast version but the handful of stages exclusively made for the GC.

PSU actually does look better than PSO. PSO just has more texture variety in some places. But now that PS2 support has been dropped from PSU we are starting to get much better looking areas. Characters have much more polygonal detail in PSU than they do in PSO. The areas in PSU that are from PSO also look better.
