I thought the whole deal with the Wii was that it was perfect for games like Luigi's Mansion?

Man I was so looking forward to sitting on my couch and playing Luigi the Ghostbuster again on my 42" tv..

Yeah I don't get Nintendo right now either. I get that they want to have the 3DS sell, but the Wii could still benefit from titles like Luigi's Mansion, Starfox, etc.

Man I'm sad about this, I really enjoyed the first Luigi's Mansion so I've been waiting for this for ten years.

But I'm not gonna buy a 3DS for this, I just don't like playing games on handhelds,
Sure Phoenix Wright was fun but games like Luigi's Mansion and Starfox need to be on consoles,
not on some small screen where so much detail is lost.

I don't understand the need for the 3DS either, wasn't the DS doing good enough?

Well, the DS was starting to become quite dated graphically compared to the PSP and smart phones. 3DS can bring a bit more to the table in that sense. I don't have a problem with the 3DS, I just have a problem with Nintendo ignoring the Wii. There are plenty of games that could still be done on the Wii which would work perfectly on the System. But it seems no one wants to give it a try.
