    Default Vapor Trail

Not normally into these types of games, but the music is good. Trying to play this on Hard and keep getting killed by the giant tank.

Just more practice and, maybe, a different ship/aircraft. A controller with good D-pad (like Sega 6-button Arcade Pad or good 3rd party; not the Majesto one for Christ sake!) and turbo function (you can combine the Sega 6-B pad with the Tyco Power Plug for turbo!) help too. The rapid fire provided by the game isn't fast enough IMO, and you can get better results using the normal fire+very fast turbo.

I usually use Seylen's S-Unit, it's harder in the beginning 'cause it has less attack power but it's faster and has the back fire too. Don't loose any power-ups and you'll be ready to go.

You have any idea where to find the retrospective he (Jamie Bunker) did? It used to be here: http://derrick.sobodash.com/2007/07/...-jamie-bunker/

    Now it's gone.

These things were pretty common around here, there were guys who were pretty much superstars of the video game world, appearing in magazines, TV shows etc.
I wonder where they all are today, and if they still play video games.

Not a good enough shooter to hold my interest, ignoring the music that is. There's 3-4 songs in that game that are pretty much the best the genesis has to offer besides the streets of rage 1/2 OST.

    There's the shirt!
You know, looking at it, it doesn't look that complicated. I bet you could remake those shirts if you could find a decent sized image of the logos and used Cafepress or something.

Awesome music, good game . . . but definitely best in 2 player co-op mode.
6 days older than SEGA Genesis

Just keep pressing start if YOU CAN'T HOLD IT. The chanting of VAPOUR TRAIL should help you DESTROY THE CORE (ROGER).
