I know people really like King of Kong A Fistful of Quarters but I didnt really like it. There's also one called Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade which I havent seen. G4 used to do short 30 minute documentaries on video games that were prety good.

The Discovery Channel had a multi part documentary on the history of the industry a few years back. One thing that I always remembered from it was the part where they talked about the Genesis. They introduced it and said how it played advanced 16 bit games or something. They described some of the games and showed footage, but the games they showed were for the Master System. That was a pretty big fuck up.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Two of the best I have seen are Iain Lee's Thumb Candy and Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe
To be this good takes AGES, to be this good takes SEGA!

The only ones I saw were that one from the Discovery Channel zetastrike mentioned and Gameswipe.

While I can't exactly remember if the Discovery one was good or not, Gameswipe was quite good.

KOK wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy how it was presented in the David vs Goliath fashion. At times it seemed like a soap opera.
