Turtles 2 on the Nes kicked ass no way is it a bad port.
Sheath your website is sweet but you gotta take off the homer goggles.
TMNT (Arcade)
TMNT 2 The Arcade Game (NES)
TMNT 3 The Manhattan Project (NES)
TMNT 4 Turtles in Time (Arcade and SNES)
TMNT The Hyperstone Heist (Genesis)

I like the NES version of the Arcade Game as well. At least I like it better than the versions on MAME or XBLA. I can't remember exactly what is different but there is a fundamental change to the fighting mechanics that I prefer in the NES game.

You gotta wonder how a Genesis port of the original would have turned out.
Slow and sluggish?
This was taken on real hardware btw.
Sadly it's a 1-player video... If you read the previous posts the slowdown was mentioned in co-op mode.
Also, does not matter how fast the turtle is running... It will not make the gameplay faster, since it's a beat'em up and not an on-foot racing game like Dashin Desperados.

This is pretty much how I view the comparison. I'm going to have to break in my new CPU next week by FRAPSing more video from the Arcade versions.

Oh for fucks sake, Agostinhobaroners! I was replying to your fucking post specifically. I'm surprised you didn't bitch about the video not being loud enough! Or having a high enough resolution, being of only one stage and not the whole game, or some other stupid fucking technicality.

Thanks, sheath. The video clearly show that in terms of animation frames and gameplay speed we have: Arcade TiT> HH> SNES TiT.
Bastardcat, just look how all the enemies move like choppy lizards in the SNES version. The ninjas look lazy and dull in the SNES.
What the fuck does that even mean?
That video also clearly shows emulators being used. Isn't that one of your no-nos?
No. Wait, before you pull out another stupid ass technicality from your large sack of them, allow me to do something that will save me a lot of brain cells. I realize its an uphill battle trying to preach the virtues of anything that doesn't have "SEGA" stamped on it on a site dedicated to the Genesis, but some of y'all are impossible!
Emulator not emulators, I'm pretty sure that sheath only used MAME 'cause his cabinet of consoles does not have enough space for arcade boards, but the others are from real hardware.
You know shit about sheat's videos. Sorry, but you need to work harder.
You're better like a regular humorist than like a serious arguer.
You don't need to get snarky with all those personal attacks, just pick another tricky YouTube video but in co-op mode. Is it that difficult for you? Are you afraid to see some slowdown? C'mon!

Yeah, and I'm pretty much not willing to take this hobby to the point where I collect entire boards. Everything but the MAME version was original hardware via Composite. I did not post it in response to Bastardcat's video, but to an earlier reply. That SNES gameplay video makes the SNES game look and sound terrible though.
