    From the ones I played:

    Star Wars (Atari)
    Star Wars Trilogy Arcade
    Star Wars: Battlefront II
    LEGO Star Wars II

I should play any of the Rogue Squadron games someday.

I haven't played to many SW games but KOTOR is my favorite.

My all time Fav's were Star Wars Rebel Assault and Dark Forces , but also loved Star Wars RS II on the Cube, Star Wars on the Snes.

The best ever was Star Wars (Atari) in the Arcades
    Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
one of the best 3D shooting games available

PC - The best Star Wars games were the '90s PC games.

    1. Star Wars: TIE Fighter (either CD version)
    2. Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and its equally brilliant expansion pack Star Wars: Mysteries of the Sith
    3. Star Wars: X-Wing (CD)
    4. Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance
    5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

TIE Fighter is the best game Lucasarts has ever published, my favorite space shooter, and one of the greatest games ever made (it's easily in my all time top five), and Jedi Knight 1 is my favorite FPS. '80s-90s Lucasarts was pretty amazing. As for KotOR... it's disappointing in a lot of ways, but I had just enough fun with it that maybe it deserves that position. Maybe. Perhaps I should have given it to Galactic Battlegrounds or Dark Forces instead, I'm not entirely sure...

Also, while I can't quite put it on my list because objectively it's probably not that great of a game, I have to mention Rebel Assault because it's a nostalgic favorite of mine. That was one of the first CD games I owned, so I loved that game back in 1995, and I still find it fun... X-Wing vs TIE Fighter is also worth mentioning, even if it isn't as good as any of the other three. The first Dark Forces also should be mentioned, because it's a pretty good Doom-style game. My one issue with it is a serious one, though -- I REALLY dislike that you can't save during levels, it makes it quite hard. And I mentioned it earlier, but Galactic Battlegrounds is pretty good. It's basically a straight Age of Empires II reskin, but at least they cloned a great game.

As for the console games, I don't know if they're better than any of the PC games above -- and they are most certainly not better than the top two, that's for sure -- but I guess I could make a list.

    1. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II - Rogue Leader
    2. Star Wars: Battle for Naboo
    3. Super Star Wars
    4. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
    5. Super Return of the Jedi

    ... Yes, I liked Factor 5 a lot.

With honorable mentions to Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, Super The Empire Strikes Back, the Sega CD version of Rebel Assault, and Lego Star Wars (1+2 Complete for Wii, preferably)Oh, and the Game Boy/Game Gear version of Super Return of the Jedi too, it's fun. If I had to mention one of the versions of Star Wars (the NES/GB/GG game), I might mention the Game Gear version -- I like the changes to the first half of the game that it makes. It's simpler but not as frustrating. As for Star Wars Arcade for 32X, it's not a great game, no, but I have had some fun with it anyway, probably as much because it's a Star Wars game as anything else...

The worst Star Wars game I've played might be Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. That's a pretty awful game. The PS1/PC Episode 1 game isn't very good either, but I think Republic Heroes might be worse... (I haven't played Masters of Teras Kasi, so no opinion on that one.)

I too can't stand the Super Star Wars series, those games are overly hard unfun platformers IMO.

I LOVE the Rogue Squadron Series. Very hard to top.
In the same vein, Star Wars Trilogy in the arcades by SEGA is another excellent game.
X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter is also fun.
I played a TON of Star Wars Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy back in the mid 2000s.
I even enjoyed the little Point and Click Yoda's Stories adventure game.

But to be honest, it just doesn't get more fun than this:

I just realized that the Game Gear got a Star Wars and ROTJ game but no Empire Strikes Back game. Seems kinda odd they would skip that one.

Yeah, it is kind of funny that the GG didn't get a version of the NES/GB ESB game...

I've enjoyed a lot of the games mentioned so far, good stuff all around. Not sure I could pick an absolute favorite, but my favorite online Star Wars experience is most likely a mod for Jedi Academy called "Movie Battles II":

Great class-based team game, almost every famous scenario from the movies you can imagine is played out here. Still has a fairly active community and development team, worth checking out: http://www.moviebattles.com/

Star Wars on the GB/NES was quite good. Star Wars Arcade on the 32x is good to meh. Rouge Squadron 2 on the GameCube has fantastic visuals, but lacks substance and is far too short.

I still think they are good but the levels are very repetitive and too long and the games wouldnt get such high marks if the graphics and music werent of such a high standard. Some of the mode 7 levels look good and some look terrible. The land speeder level in SSW isnt bad but the Speeder bike level in ROTJ looks terrible.

Speaking of Star Wars Trilogy Arcade...

Sega should get the license and port that to the Wii, with another one of their games.

Yeah, I know last year I said the same thing with the Lost World arcade game, but come on! That would be awesome!

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
