To be honest with you, I thought about getting River City Ransom EX but I don't really dig the graphics and art style. Can't really stand the super deformed characters. Maybe some day I'll get it but as of now its not on my short list. I cant get the NES one cuz I dont have a NES anymore.

This reminds me. Does anybody else see a lot of similarities between River City Ransom and DJ Boy?

I also don't care for River City Ransom EX.
I purchased it at release because of all the hype but just couldn't get excited about playing it. Because of that I never gave the Double Dragon remake a chance.
Advance Guardian Heroes is one of the few games of the last 10 years which I've played through on all difficulty levels multiple times. I really think it is the most underappreciated game I can think of. Everything about the game is perfect for the GBA. One of the best sequels ever, and one of the top games for the GBA. It's a shame it didn't meet people's expectations.
I like River City Ransom EX a lot, and I never understood why it got a lot of hate. I mean, except for the fact that a River City Ransom 2 was canned to make way for EX. That truly sucks.
You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
i was never able to play beatem ups alone , you have twice the fun when its two people
My Consoles: Nes(toaster), Nes (toploader), Snes, Sega Genesis 2x Model 1 (HD and Va7) , Genesis Model 2 ,Sega Cd model 2 (bois ver 2.00) ,Sega Saturn N64, PS1 , Xbox 1(modded running XMBC) , 2x Xbox360(2 jaspers)
My Handhelds: Sega Game Gear , Nintendo Ds, Sega Nomad
Hmmm I thought Final Fight would do better than it has.
Voted for Double Dragon Advance, because it's one of the best examples on how to remake a game. The controls and move variety are superb, as are the graphics and sound, plus there's brand new stages too.
I was originally gonna vote for River City Ransom EX instead because it's a kickass remake too, but then decided on DD
