    What a fucking idiot.
    A) I've drafted by hand, no it doesn't take skill, unless you think drawing lines with a ruler is a skill
    B) it's not art

I'm not trying to make beautiful paintings, I'm doing structural engineering. People don't draw plans to look pretty, they draw plans to make sure the building doesn't fall down and collapse upon itself.

Drafting by hand simply invites error, which can result in nonstructurally sound buildings. The hard part of drafting isn't drawing the damn plan, it's knowing the code and math to be able to perform the calculations to make sure the building works. And CADs don't do that for you, because they can't, due to building code varying from city to city, and year to year.

I'm now in art college okay!? I have to use new technology, because they are designed to make artist's work much easier, even I kind of hate it but will end up liking it if I know how to use it in better way.

Precision in its self, is a art, designing stuff is a art, it doesn't need to be a random drawing/painting for it to be a art.

Yes errors can happen doing stuff by hand, that's why the skillful are artisans, and thus are respected in their field.

No one respects people who draft by hand. I don't know why I'm arguing with you considering I am A) A professional draftsman who owns an architectural firm, and B) you're spurting ignorant and ideological bullshit.

None of this is art. No one hires a structural engineer because he can draw straight. It's work. You'll know what I mean one day when you actually begin to work.

I mean, yeah, I can understand that from a viewpoint. But it's like saying someone's not a good author because their penmanship is poor. It's concentrating on the stupidest criteria.

Mitch Hedberg once made a joke which applies here about how stupid people can be about criticizing people in a field they're ignorant of. "You're a good comedian, but can you act? That's like saying 'you're a good chef, but can you farm?!'"

It doesn't matter It's not art that people buy, It's still a art, and I'm sorry, but I would most definitely not hire someone whom has no skills at drafting(ownership means nothing, you said you inherited it).

I do work, and if something is worth doing, It's worth doing well(rather It's a job, hobby or whatnot, it doesn't matter), sorry you don't see that.

I'm done with this discussion(sigh yet we wonder why cities are falling apart, literally, cutting corners is never a good thing), you'll never understand.

Again, art is never perfect, same thing with writings and others.

Finally Zoltor has gone into hiding.

... uh, I'm not going to buy Wii U anyway. That controller sure looks heavy.

EDIT: okay, I take that back, it doesn't look that heavy after all.

If it weighs more then 1/2 a pound or so, I'll be shocked, look at the Sega Dreamcast controllers, now imagine they held 3 memory cards, instead of 1, there you go(it will sure be dense though, due to all the electronics needed).

After looking at some images on google, Wii U sure looks like TV console version of Nintendo DS, I'm not kidding. That means that player don't have to pause games such as resident evil and zelda games in order to select and change items after all.

That's pretty much the impression most got. However, the Wii U is going to be re-revealed in a couple of months, and it reportedly will be quite different. I'm not against the tablet controller personally, and I would love it if this meant we could eventually play DS and 3DS games on the TV (ala super gameboy).

It seems, however, like the idea was half-baked by nintendo. They had very few ideas about the wii U set in concrete when they showed it off. An example - they were still unsure if you could use more than 1 tablet controller at once, or if only 1 player could use it and the others would use wiimotes, or if you could even buy tablet controllers separately from the system. These issues are still up the air, apparently.

Yes I was thinking same on Super gameboy/gameboy player version of nintendo DS, but you said it first on here before me. I think they should port resident evil and resident evil 2 over to wii U and that would be cool for me to use as long they port it in right way (items and weapon choices on controller, and gameplay on TV).
