P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.
Yeah, the big sticking point for me is going to be the fact that the WiiU controller isn't going to be cheap. I'll probably camp out for one like I did with the original Wii (always fun with friends) but this difference will be that instead of actually keeping it, I'll probably try and flip it for some extra bucks. If no one wants it I can always return it to the store![]()
Yea, I've heard the same, two stock controllers, but if you want to play a 4 player game, the other two people must use wii remote or classic controller.
However like I hinted at, It's only a possible issue for like 3-4 player games(it shouldn't be that bad though, the Classic Controller Pro is godly).
I've decided that the 3DS will probably be the last new console that I'll buy before completely switching to the PC. If there's a new Mother game though, I might change my mind.
As for the system being successful, well Nintendo needs to show a little bit more of how the controller's going to work. They have a bad habit of showing off new hardware and not showing exactly what's being done with it. Remember when the Wii controller was first announced?
Watch the E3 wideos, they've shown a few examples of how It's gonna work(they need to show more granted, but they did a pretty good job last E3).
Sigh you picked the 3DS(a slightly better off VB) as your last system(what a POS, which still has yet to have its own library)tsk tsk tsk(should've so waited for the wiiU).
Hey, I like what I've seen so far. Sure the battery life is pretty damned horrible, but I've enjoyed Super Mario 3D Land a lot, and playing original DS games on that thing is a lot better than playing them on the fat DS that I have. It's a shame that Capcom blows and sucks so much at the same time and cancelled MegaMan Legends 3, which is half the reason I bought the damned thing, but Paper Mario and Kid Icarus Uprising will probably more than make up for that. If the Wii U has games that I want, I'll buy it. However, at this point I see nothing that I'm all that interested in. Most games I want to play right now are available for the PC anyways, most of the Wii U games that have been anounced that I'm remotely interested in have already come out already on the PC (and by most I mean Batman Arkham City.. yeah that's pretty much it).
I paid 1500$ for a PC that'd be good with 3D modeling, video editing, and other such graphically intensive programs, I might as well be using it for all it's worth ya know?
Even if the Wii U sucks, I don't quite see how that prevents you from getting something else.
You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
Nothing's preventing me, I'm just finding that I'm fine with the PC that I have. There's great games on the 360 and PS3, but at the end of the day I prefer a keyboard and mouse setup, and Steam. Do I get to play as many games as people who play on the PS3/360, no, I'm not going to debate that at all. But, I do get enough games. Most games that come out on consoles that I'm interested get released for the PC. If there is a game that I feel I can't miss out on, then I might buy another console, if not, then I won't bother. If this generation has been any indication of what consoles nextgen, then I'm probably not going for a new console any time soon.
It's simply a personal choice, nothing more.

Aww, man. I just had a vision of greasy, scratched WiiU controllers hanging on the 'used' rack at GameStop. It wasn't pretty. Anyway, I think the complicated controllers costing a lot is the point. Nintendo can make a ton of money selling them. They did this anticipating the popularity of tablets and kids wanting tablets like dad's/SonicRetard's. Someone needs to make a demotivational of the WiiU controller. Tag line: 'It prints money'.
One of the things I hope for is that Nintendo will come up with an HD console that still has the feel of a Wii or a previous console. I only recently got my first HD console (PS3) and I keep getting annoyed at how I have to baby the thing, turning it off takes an eternity, lots of games keep on telling me not to turn it off when the HD light is flashing and simply cutting the power when you're done playing as you could with previous console generations is a no-go as well. I really hope they find a way, it's really quite annoying.
It sure doesn't take long for Zoltor to make a fool of himself, does it? Ah well... I'm glad the little guy's back.
I'm still pretty confused about what the WiiU is even supposed to be. And no, don't bother telling me - I really don't care. Nintendo announced this thing way too early, and the third-party games they announced with it are going to be ridiculously late to the party by the time this thing comes out. Arkham City two years later? Score!!! And don't get me started about how they got the fans salivating over a Smash Bros game that's not even in active development yet.
I know there was some strategy behind pulling the curtain back on the WiiU at last year's E3, but that was just way too soon. Remember that the 3DS was a surprise announcement, but right after it was unveiled they had playable units out on the floor. Nintendo should only now be dropping teasing hints about the system, making people curious and getting them talking. Then by the time this year's E3 comes around, they'll actually have something to show.
