Lol I don't think it would be as successful as that(most likely the person pulling this would be jailed, and such, not to mention not dirrectly benefitting themselvs if the person was an employeed, nor would an employee whom had any involvement with a 3rd party who pulled such), but It's got to be better then suicide.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

That's why many people don't give half a rat's ass about tournies. Watch these videos, It's hardly advanced play, and the char used most the time in tournies/arcades are laughable, just like how they use said char(even when a generally skill based char is selected, It's rarely used in a skillful way).

You don't have a clue. An arcade stick with a micro-switch trap is far more accurate than a cheaply made controller pad with contact points used for the pad. No matter what your opinion of tournaments is, you'd get your ass handed to you, if you came in there with a shitty control pad, or cheap arcade stick.

I have a tournament grade arcade stick. The difference between it and a cheap arcade stick is night and day. Even the mighty 6 button Saturn pad can't compare.

This is the stick I use:

After using the stick for a few hours then going back to a D-Pad is like night and day. When I play MK casually I'll use a D-Pad. If I'm playing someone local or online, arcade stick all the way.

Hey, I've done worse and I think I'm doing pretty good now, several years later.
Customized Sega Genesis Model 1 - VA3. Energy efficient with buck converters instead of LM7805's.

For non complex fighters or worse, bad non serious fighters like MvC3, it doesn't matter what you use(It's a crappy button masher anyway), but when you're playing a fighter that requires skill, and precision, a reg styled controller is the only way.

Is it even possible to easily pull off the full circle moves on a D-Pad that are super easy to do on an Arcade Stick?

And I'd like to see who you say are cheap characters to use in these kind of games. Care to list any?

I wasn't trying to bash MK, but it sure Isn't a complex Fighter(as far as MvC3, It's almost univerally agreed sucks big time, and requires no skill of any kind).

Yes it is, and at way faster speeds.

You know, guys like Iron Man, Cable(lol most stick users sware Cable is the best char ever), Mega Man, exc, you know char you have to go far out of the way to use skillfully(because they were purposely designed to be cheap), so much so, almost noone even tries to really learn the char.
