Default Getting stickers and residue off of Sega CD cases

Are there any good products recommended to get gunk and stickers off of Sega CD and Saturn cases? A friend of mine has this stuff called Goo-Gone or something like that (not sure of the exact name) and he says it doesn't work very well at all on these types of cases and looks like it eats through it. I need something that makes it look like the sticker was never there.

I think it was this year that the world finally invented the residue-free price sticker, still very rare. It's like most price tags are designed to destroy whatever they touch. Another reason textured Genesis boxes are the best... they resist residue!

My friend has told me that regular sandwich butter can get rid of the glue left of stickers. I tried it on stickers on my bass guitar and it worked great. I suggest you get a pack of Bregott extrasaltat from Sweden and try that, since American butter just isn't the same thing as Swedish butter. I can't promise it will work on Sega CD and Saturn cases though. You just gotta take chances in life.

I've found using a piece of tape and sticking it on the residue and pulling it off is a good way.

What ever you use dont use citrus based cleaners!!!!!!!!!!! This stuff may be safe to use on my snowboard and on the actual game staorage case, but it started to dissolve my game cartridge! I started off thinking the glue they must have used for the security sticker was black, but then I realised.........oh my god.......its eating up the plastic! Luckily the cartridge was only Clay Fighter.

Now I use Tape Remover by Leuko (BSN Medical). It is composed of
    2-Propanol 45% v/v
    1-Propanol 30% v/v
    Purified Water 25% v/v

This stuff removes the glus pretty fast.....and no damage to the plastic at all.
