In this case I'd say that any percentage of people who think the Saturn is bad, doesn't have any good games, had bad graphics, or whatever are flat out wrong. Besides, that 10% of the market that bought the Saturn also bought a PS1. Sales don't speak anything to quality.

Whats so bad about HD-DVD Sound? I've heard that a lot of HD-DVD releases are better than their BluRay counterparts, mostly stuff from Universal.

The fact that the format was a failure and thus did not get many movie releases.

How does that make the sound quality bad?

    Like talking to a wall.

What use is great sound if it has a very limited library of movies to enjoy this great sound with?

I am reminded of the joke about how Kolibri was the best bird based shooter on the 32X.

It's worth it if the small library is still a good library.

I have an HD-DVD Bluray combo player and prefer to get the HD-DVD version whenever possible. Also, there were a metric ton of HD-DVD releases, I'll be collecting them for years. Similarly, I am still collecting Saturn games to this day.

A lot of the Saturn supporters always tout all the great shooters they have but you need to realize there are arent a lot of diehard shooter fans out there compared to other ganres. Yeah I get it, Panzer Dragoon is amazing yadda yadda yadda but guess what ? I dont give a crap about rail shooters.

Well, if you don't like rail shooters, there's tons of other genres on the Saturn. Platformers, RPG's, fighters, etc.

Platformers, RPG's, fighters are my top 3 genres but I was satisfied with the PSX giving me what I wanted with those genres. Im sure Saturn had good choices in those genres but I dont feel like I missed out on a top of stuff to the point where Im crying about it. I would have loved to have played Shining Force III, Fighting Vipers, the 2D Capcom VS games, and a few more but alas it wasnt meant to be.

Well, Saturns are cheap now, so you should pick one up sometime.

That's no reason to dismiss it and call it crap either. That excuse is pretty much acting like a 5 year old with your fingers in your ears going "I can't hear you!" when people mention good games on the system. If you don't want a Saturn that's fine, but don't go around calling it trash just because you don't want to try it.
