srs (street racing syndicate) for xbox it was just boring no speed effect and graphics on par with a first gen ps2 game.

now state some of the best games you played and i know about 900 of you are going to put halo and gta but pleez put something thats a good game while being original so wht im saying is sorta tell ur sleeper picks

dead rising for xbox 360 it acccutaually brought something the the dying genre that is brawlers

spyro the dragon 1- 3 : year of the dragon for ps1 because it redifened the face of platformin' ansd had everything the sm 64 didn't have

The best game I ever played is Metal Gear Solid 2. There, I said it.

The worst game? Oooh, that'll be a tough one. I know it's something of a cliched answer, but my initial response would be Daikatana, because I've actually lived through that horror. If I can think of something better I'll let you know.

The best game I have ever played is Blood because it oozes awesome at every single step, I love the map editor, that game is awesome and wondrous in every way, just thinking about it makes me want to throw my dog out of the window.

Worst game, in terms of disappointment, has to be South Park for the PSX. My expectation was much higher than the piece of tripe I found myself playing. They could have made a South Park game so awesome that the thought of how awesome it could have been makes me want to throw my dog out the window. Instead the landscapes are vapid and lonely, enemies appear and random and get cheap shots in, everything is either white or foggy, the 2-player is amusing for about three minutes, the entire game play is slow, tedious and utterly tosh. I'm sure I've played worse (Dino Dini's Soccer is another name that has just sprung to mind) but South Park really sticks out at the moment and I'm 15 minutes late for work all ready and don't have time to think or change my post.

Of course it's hard to pick the best, but Starcraft is the game I've spent the most time with. Only thing I disliked about it was how the online community was eventually ruined by stupid people who only played one map and that there were no good solutions to this.
Other games: Super Metroid, Wonder Boy 3, FF7, Panorama Cotton, SMW2, Wario Land, Wario Ware, Fallout 2, Puyo Puyo 2

Worst game.. Well, I can't stand 3D platformers with poor camera that are all about collecting useless stuff. Like Spyro or Gex.

    On Second thought:
    Rampage
    Tomb Raider 3-4
    Crash Bandicoot
    Bubsy games
    Wipeout 1
    Robocop games
    Superman games
    Ultima 2
    FF1-2
    Virtua Fighter 2 (MD)
    Robo Warrior (NES)
    Home Alone games

You guys can't be serious putting stuff like Halo or FF7 in this category? I can see how you might not be into the genre and one could argue that the games weren't that innovative in most aspects (or in a good way), but Worst game ever? That's stupid, and you're just saying it for the attention I just gave you.

Just about everyone knows what my favorite title is so I won't bother mentioning it.

The worst game I've ever played? That's pretty tough, but I think I'd have to choose Halo. Mainly because I've never been into that type of game anyway, and therefore I do not see why it deserves the hype. Mind you, FF7 is a very close second.

best game ive ever played would have to be Arcanum(pc), awesome RPG, with an excellent level up system, and great NPCs.
despite many claims it was full of bugs, ive never had it crash on me.. its got endless playability, different side missions for good/evil characters and the main story line to follow.. you could spend hours just doing side missions and never play through the main story. close second to this would be Sheep dog 'n' wolf(psx)

worst game.. thats a tough one, Age of Empires 3 comes to mind, there was such a long break between 2 and 3, and yet when 3 came out i just couldnt get used to the control interface, game felt slower than the old ones, and they made things more complicated with the play system.. mates of mine on the other hand, will only play 3 and never liked the originals.. these are the people i call graphics wh***s they only like 3 because its all pretty.. some of the best games i have ever played lacked polish (there are a lot more than the two listed)
I haven't lost my mind. It's backed up on disk... somewhere.

Best? That's easy. Skies of Arcadia. Just look at my username. It's an absolutely wonderful game. The characters are human and very refreshing, the story is good, the journey is fantastic, and of course the game is beautiful, as it the sound track.

Worst game? That one's considerably more difficult. I've played a lot of crap, but I tend to see a bright side to every steaming pile of fecal matter that's ever called itself a video game. In the end, I think I'm going to have to go with Terminator for the NES. *shudder*

    Best
That is a really tough call. Some of my all time favorites ever are:
-Super Monkey Ball (first one, Gamecube version only)
-Shenmue (1 and 2, Dreamcast versions... though Xbox version is still great)
    -Plus many, many more

    Worst
Again, too tough to call. Some games that trigger the hate are:
    -Altered Beast (GameBoy Advance version)
-Strider (Sega Master System version AND PC Engine Arcade CD version)
-Final Fantasy 7 (and most others)
-Just about any Sonic game released in the past 4 or 5 years... including the upcoming versions
    -Plus many more.

This isn't the worst game I have ever played, that would be too hard. The game I was most dissappointed by is Jet Set Radio Future. Not only does it not live up to the standards its predecessor set, but it is a downright bad game in and of itself.

My favorite game of all time.......
Jet Grind Radio. The quirky music, beautiful graphics, manual tagging, and great overall game design make this my sleeper fave. If Halo had not been pre-eliminated I would have said that in all likelyhood.

Thank you for having the guts to say that outloud. Me, I'm a big FPS fan, and I can appreciate what it did for that genre and the success of the Xbox, but I still think Halo is vastly overrated and really not that great.

FF7 is kind of the same thing, it's only fondly remembered because it was so many people's first RPG (and you always remember your first ). I only like maybe a handful of Final Fantasy games (IX being the only 3D one I can stand), and FF7 is easily my least favorite. FF8 comes out ahead just because I kinda liked the card game. And my anti-FF stance has led to a lot of heated conversations between me and customers at the EB I work at, what with the release of both Dirge of Cerberus (sheer crap) and FFXII (don't care, won't play it) in recent months.

I understand the nostalgia factor, but honestly that shouldn't be enough to keep FF7 alive. Nostalgically I still love Eye of the Beholder, but it hasn't aged well in my eyes at all. And that's the way FF7 should be. IMO of course.

Best: Final Fantasy X (followed closely by Tactics, VIII, VII and IX)
    Metal Gear Solid-series
    Landstalker
    Suikoden 2
Revenge of Shinobi (not the GBA-version!)
    Chrono Trigger

    Worst: Wizardry (C64)
    Wizard of War (C64)
    Tomb Raider (all versions)
    Power Stone
    Fun ´n Games
    Street Fighter 1
    Unlimited SaGa

Especially the worst games choice is hard, there are so many games I hate from the bottom of my heart...!

    Best game ever:

I've spent waaaaaaay too much time of my life with Street Fighter 2. Arcade versions, Genesis versions, SNES versions, and most recently...Xbox live arcade version. But even though it's probably my favorite game ever, I'd have to say Ocarina of Time is the best game ever. There is simply nothing wrong with that game. It's brilliant.

    Worst game ever:

I actually bought Die Hard Vendetta on the gamecube. I had just seen the movie on tv, and because I'm such an idiot, I became excited about playing the game. I HAVE NEVER PLAYED A WORSE GAME IN MY LIFE.

This is tough, there are so many great games I have played over the years; considering I was a kid during a really exciting time in gaming history, the 5th gen of games, just when 3D gaming was becoming mainstream.

    Best:
    the Resident Evil series
    Super Metroid
    Mortal Kombat II
    Duck Hunt (that's right)
    Sonic the Hedgehog series
    Megaman/MMX series
    Super Mario World

    Worst:
    Rampage: Total Destruction
South Park Rally (good show, but they can NOT make good games)
    any Def Jam game
E.T. for 2600 (yes I have played it, I can see why they threw all copies in a landfill)
Up on the shelf; it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Sega Genesis! Faster processing than a SNES, more powerful than a TG-16, able to play 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit and CD-ROM games on a single system (with the CD, 32x and power base converter, of course)

    Best games I've played:
    -Revenge of Shinobi
    -Alien Soldier
-Um Jammer Lammy (one of the factors that got me into guitar playing)
    -Unreal Tournament

    Worst games:
-A Dog's Life is the only one that comes to mind
