I'm going to go ahead and guess that you don't know jack shit about PC gaming and are just "pulling a Zoltor" again as I like to call it. Saying that the "Tactic" genre is the only supported "genre" on PC was a pretty clear sign of that...what in the sweet holy HELL is the "Tactic" genre?

Cities XL and Tropico are two high profile simulations with new updates released recently. Do your damn research before you start spouting belligerent nonsense and lies about a platform you obviously know jack about.

Stalker is an obscure game that noone who hasn't happened to stumble upon it on a shelf or subscribes to a PC mag would know.

Also what other traditional PC styled genres are supported, PC styled platformers all move to consosoles, and then were destroyed, The FPS genre had a simular fate(except it still exists in a form of a running joke, that the FPS genre turned into), indept adventure games are unheard of these days, the last high quality MMO came out in 06-07 time period, exc.

Supporting a genre with crappy games, is no support at all.
The tactic genre is the only genre that still has a noticeable amount of good games supporting it

The STALKER series is very well known in the PC community.

    Less talk more action!

Again, what the hell is the "tactic" genre? What are you talking about?

And yes, STALKER was very well loved among a lot of PC gamers. But not being a PC gamer as is obvious by your statements, you obviously wouldn't know that.

The last high quality MMO to be released was just last year with The Old Republic. Which you also probably think is a "POS."

Little spoiled brats like you are any developers worst nightmare; people to willingly write off nearly everything they don't like as garbage, thereby completely disrespecting the momentous effort and time that goes into creating these things. When you are not making yourself look like a laughing stock here, I can vividly imagine you playing Street Fighter IV on Xbox Live and insulting people.

Yeah, there's plenty of new MMOs almost each year. I've been enjoying Star Trek Online and Phantasy Star Universe lately myself. And I can't wait for Phantasy Star Online 2 to come out.

Tactic genre, you know, things like Civ, age of empires, exc(and way too many spin-offs/clones to count).

I'm a PC gamer(not strictly PC, but I play tons of PC games), never saw Stalker anywhere, didn't even see it listed in forums until now(lol how loved could it have been), but I'm a real PC gamer, so I don't pine over the smut companies are releasing these days. If I missed Stalker, and It's actually good, then it slipped under the radar(which is "common" in the PC world, as very few games get any real advertising), it happens.

Yes, a noticeable drop in quality=subpar, which inturn means not worth playing. Why should I play subpar crap, when I could just replay the older games, and to make matters better, the older games have better replay value too, so It's not like they would get boring(and when that does happen eventually, you just cycle through the long list of oldet, yet awesome PC games).

High quality lol, doubtful, overhyped is what you meant.

So by Tactics you mean Real Time Strategy or RTS.

No, I mean tactic or Strategy in general if you will, not all the games are RTS games, but they count as well.

Zoltor posts may not be the most entertaining we've had on Sega-16, but at least we have him here, so best to enjoy the lol-worthy posts before he gets banned.

My favorite part was when he said that Telltale is "no sierra" despite literally being made up of old Sierra and Lucasarts members, and literally making the King's Quest series.
    A retarded Sonic.

It's going to be so good, I just hope GW2 doesn't take up all my time.

Stalker isn't obscure. Pretty much every PC gamer I know has played it, and every gaming-centric forum that I've been to has had multiple threads/discussions about it. Just because you don't pay any attention to PC games doesn't mean that it "flew under the radar."

    To Sonic:

Why are they simplistic, small scale games then? Just because some Siera staff are involved with development again, doesn't mean they are still releasing high end quality games.

Oh really, unless something all of a sudden changed(like the Sim City thing, certainly took their damn sweet time sigh, it was basically an abandoned franchise/concept), the King's Quest Series was discontinued(people have been begging for another one for ages now). Some fans created a freeware remake of KQ 1, and 2, but that's about it(I looked all over the internet for a hint the series may be revived just a couple of months ago, and found nothing).

How was SimCity a dead franchise? If it was we wouldn't have seen SimCity 4 released on Steam a year or so ago.
