segasaturn.co.uk is definitely a great forum, but there are plenty of people on Sega-16 who are quite knowledgeable about the Saturn as well.

I appreciate the recommendation, but I don't enjoy the Saturn as much as I do the Genesis. The Saturn has too many games that contain polygons, and it's just not as fun a 2D games.

True, but the Genesis is almost completely 2D, which makes it better. Plus, I grew up with the Genesis, which is also why I probably appreciate it more.

I said that I preferred the Genesis over the Saturn, especially where I grew up with a Genesis. I didn't grow up with a Saturn, and nobody I knew had one.

Yes, but you tend to enjoy something you grew up with more. There aren't as many 2D games on the Saturn, and some of them I'd have to import, which means I'd have to purchase a Japanese Saturn, because I'm not taking chances on damaging the pins on my Saturn's cart slot with an action replay.

I didn't say that I hated the Saturn, I just said that I prefer the Genesis, is that a crime or something?

I'm not cannibalizing my Saturn my having it modded. I'd buy a Japanese Saturn first, which I'll probably do eventually, but not right now.

What use would you give it then? Regular RAM carts will wear them out as well.
Is the cart slot meant to be forever immaculate?
