No, microsoft space bucks are assigned arbitrary values. Like 1600 points is $20, IIRC. The actual end price winds up being the same (i.e. you have to spend the equivalent amount of points) but since you can only buy points in set increments, you usually wind up paying a bit more.
PSN lets you directly add funds to your wallet, so if a game costs $4.99 you pay only $4.99. it's the best method out of all the DD services, steam excluded (of course).
