Pretty cool. I was a huge fan of this cartoon myself because of its relation to the Archie Comics that I was obsessed with as a kid.

Archie is doing Mega Man now, another one of my favorite video game franchises. I've been picking it up and it's nostalgic since some of the writers and artists are the same from the old Sonic comic. Patrick Spaziante (If you read the comics you know this guy. He's well known for being able to emulate any art style.) illustrated the adaptation of Mega Man 1. It was glorious.

The Sonic comics these days are a furry clusterfuck with more characters than characters, and the early comics are written fairly poorly. I picked up the first volume of the original ones and was disappointed in how they read. As a kid I had some of the one-shots like "Sonic Live!", Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic 3D Blast and they were really enjoyable. Not sure how far in exactly that was in the comic's production but maybe one day I'll look into the start of the more story-based comics. The ones published by Archie now are unreadable though.

And oh God, that Sonic Movie. I bought it for $1 on VHS and it bored me to tears. Apparently it's worth a couple bucks though online.

Sonic SatAm ruled my world. It didn't really follow the game, but it was a hell of a cartoon anyway. I have it on DVD now.

Adventures, Underground and X just weren't the same.

the problem with undergound was when the characters would break out into a song in the middle of every episode.
