I have most of the big ones, sans RPG's.

So how does Digitpress calculate 'rarity', then? There doesn't seem to be any mention on the site.

I can tell you that Alex Kidd isn't very rare. Not as you are lead to beleive.

I think MUSHA is the only rare game left I want, everything else I want is common in the wild or easily found on ebay.

It is like Snatcher for Sega CD. It is not extremely rare, but is a scarce title that is high in demand.

I just need the manual for the freaking game. I have the box and cart, but I need a manual. Argh!

Musha is rare? Weird. I have that... complete. I also just won Zany Golf (complete and in excellent condition) for $5. Yes, $5. I thought that game was an R6,465,784,545,655. Actually I don't really understand the whole "R" scale. I'm pretty sure it's just a "best guess" scale. BC Racers being rare is what makes me think the "R scale" is pure crap.

Well, I don't think M.U.S.H.A is rare persay. I just value it in my collection.

The R scale works based on how easy it was for them to attain a copy. Normy's being a R7 means it is very hard to get ahold of and thus rare.

In an example, I got my copy for £1.50. A month later a copy was sold on eBay for £22, with a lot of bids.

The only thing missing was the manual. Also why is Alex Kidd rare?

Becuase very few bought the game when it was released. It was a launch game, which would you choose between AK, Revenge of Shinobi, Super Thunder Blade, Rambo III, Last Battle, Space Harrier II, Forgotten Worlds, Truxton....just by judging the screenshots on the back of the box?

Personally, I wouldn't choose Alex Kidd.

For all that listed Phantasy Star II, it's not that rare, digital press says its a 2. It is in high demand though because it's an rpg. I got it from a guy at the classic gaming expo for $5 complete :-)

I don't think Alex Kidd was there on launch day (Revenge of Shinobi sure wasn't and didn't show up for a few months later, at least).

My rarest is Crusader of Centy. I suppose Beggar Prince will be rather rare at only 600 copies?

I wish I could go back to when Revenge of Shinobi FIRST came out. I love batman that much!
