    Hey I just remembered that the game Desert Demolition has the Roadrunner going through giant loops just like Sonic, and he is always running off the screen, just like in Sonic 2.

    Do you guys also think it's an unintentional effect in this game too? Or were they intentionally copying the same effect from Sonic 2, although the consensus seems to be that it's an unintentional effect in Sonic 2?

    Personally I still can't quite believe it's unintentional, I guess mainly because it's such an awesome sight that is so prominent throughout both of these games...

    I know there is an official thread for this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I have found a hack for Sonic 3 and Knuckles that supports game saves from Sonic 3 and Knuckles using the EverDrive MD. I won't link to the site, as needless to say you'll need to own Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles cart originals to be able to use this. I do by the way.

    I tried it, and it works on my Nomad with all my sonic 3 completed data present, and spaces for use with knuckles. I reopened a game with one emerald saved without problems. Fantastico! And about time too, All credit to the author.

    EDIT: I think I just saw a post here by the hack author, if it's who I think it is, it is Tiddles right?

    Playing as Knuckles in both Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 was awesome.

    Responding to the first few posts: Evertime I play chemical plant zone I get stuck in the wall from going too fast. There's not a single don't I don't manage to do that and it's always at the same spot. The genesis 3 system is the only system where it didn't glitch me into the wall for a second or two.

    And yeah I do miss the ability to go off the screen. But people sonic 3 the stages didn't provide enough ramps and loops to gain enough speed to do that.

    Yeah actually it did happen to me in Sonic 2 Chemical Plant Zone, when I played it after this whole thread discussion. So it does happen to me in Sonic 2 at least in one spot... S3&K it seems to happen every so often, bc it seems some sequences just require running instead of spinning... Why would they want to require running instead of spinning sometimes??? lol

    I don't know why but I know what you mean I was going at warp speed then I'd want sonic to go into a spin ball and suddenly he'd come to a complete stop...for the heck of it? The only glitching I pulled off in sonic 3 and knuckles was I managed to get sonic stuck in a wall where it shoots you out quickly on the other side...a glitch that's often used in tas plays....
