custom build with the smallest case in the world to be able to hold full sized desktop CPUs (seriously check it out, plus it's almost fanless)

    CASE M350 mini ITX
    POWER PicoPSU 90W + Leicke 60W brick
MOBO AsRock H110M-ITX with AC Wifi
    CPU i3 6100 @ 3.70 Ghz (HD 530 graphics) with Noctua NH-L9i fan
RAM 16 GB DDR4 HyperX Fury 2400 Mhz dual channel
SSD 500 GB Samsung EVO 850
    SCREEN 25" Asus MX279H LED IPS 1080p
    OS Windows 10 LTSB 2016

I bought the RAM just before the price burst so that's why I took 16 GB (2x8). The screen is awesome with no bezels though don't go beyond 24-25" if you are staying in the 1080p realm. The one fan is inaudible.

I have 3 rigs. The last one is used for printing, MS word stuff, video capture and going to shady websites that may contain viruses.

    My main rig

    Windows 10 64 bit

    i7-4790K @4.7Ghz
Corsair H110 Closed loop CPU cooler
Asus Z87-WS motherboard (I got it for $85, it retailed for $325)
16GB DD3-2133 Kingston HyperX Savage memory
    EVGA GTX 1080 Classified
Crucial MX300 500 GB SSD (Boot)
    Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
    OCZ Agility 250 GB SSD
    Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB
Crucial MX300 750 GB SSD (pretty much for Steam)
Corsair AX-860 860 Watt 80+Platinum PSU (Paid less than $100 for it)
    Corsair Air 540 case
    $20 DVD burner
    27.5" Dell 1440p/144Hz G-Sync (TN)Monitor

    Living Room Rig

    Windows 10 64-bit

    i5-2500K @4.8Ghz
Lepra 240mm Closed loop CPU cooler
    Asus P8-Z68V-Pro
    16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3-1600 RAM
    SanDisc 128GB SSD (boot)\
    2 x Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDDs
    EVGA GTX 780 Classified
    Corsair RM850 850 Watt 80+Gold PSU
    $20 DVD drive

    I have this rig connected to a Samsung 52" LCD with 120Hz refresh and it's running through a Sony 200 watt 5.1 DTS/Dolby Digital/Cinema Sound/PLII surround.

    The old reliable

    HP Pavillion Media PC

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

    Intel Q9650 (Core2Quad) @ 3Ghz
    Asus really cheap looking motherboard
    8GB Kingston HyperX DDR2-800
Coolmax 650 Watt 80+ (it doesn't even have a metal rating) PSU
Seagate 750GB HDD (Man is it slow!)
Palit GTX 460 1GB Sonic Edition
    Stock DVD drive
    64GB SSD for video capture
    Shared display with main rig.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Main rig: Some HP Pavilion minitower PC purchased from thrift store (most of the hardware is not original)
Windows 7 x64 because why the hell not (and windows 10 sucks total ass, sorry, but I can't stand telemetry and forced spyware)
AMD Phenom II X4 925 @ 2.8GHz, 6MB L3 cache (amazingly it works just fine, even in most games)
16GB DDR3-1333 (running at DDR3-1066 due to lame HP motherboard)
    GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5
128GB Toshiba SSD + 320GB Fujitsu laptop hard drive that clunks a lot but works fine
PCIe to PCI bridge card, with a USB 2.0+Firewire card and Echo Digital MIA sound card floating on a small island box outside my case! (onboard sound crapped out)
    Intel Pro/1000 PCIe server NIC

Toybox PC #1: Whitebox 486 Rig
    IBM PC DOS 6.3 + Windows 3.1
Ratty old Socket 3 motherboard taken from decommissioned theater controller PC, with missing VLB slots (256KB of cache was crudely added)
    Cyrix Cx486DX2 66MHz
    16MB FPM RAM
Conner CFA540A with abnormally quiet 4500rpm spindle and nice ratchety seek
BTC Oak OTI087X 1MB ISA VGA card (output heavily fixed up - much sharper, and of proper brightness)
Creative Sound Blaster 16 CT2910 /w Yamaha YMF289 and fixes to some of Creative's silly mistakes (they left 1/2 of a quad op-amp unused and unterminated! wtf!)
Used for mucking about in Quickbasic 4.5 and playing old DOS games

Toybox #2: IBM PC300GL with a battered front bezel (currently not in use)
    Windows 98SE
Pentium 90MHz with FDIV bug (non-FDIV pentiums are boring)
Onboard Cirrus GD5446 2MB PCI VGA with a reasonably clean output
    256KB L2 cache
Maxtor Diamondmax 6GB 5400rpm drive with quiet purring spindle
Currently no sound card. WAS supposed to get the CT2910, but that wound up in the 486 instead. Looking to get another CT2910...
Used for more demanding DOS games, Adlib Tracker II, etc.

Project PC: IBM PS/2 Model 56SLC
Windows 95 - forgot which version, prolly OSR2
    IBM 486SLC2 CPU 40MHz (20MHz 386SX bus, lol)
    16MB RAM... I think
Horrible beat up IBM SCSI hard drive that sounds terrible but runs Windows 95 fine (though it clunks hilariously during a test)
Currently needing a floppy cable - naturally, it needs one of IBM's exotic, expensive-ass cables...

    Laptop: Lenovo-made IBM Thinkpad T61
    Xubuntu Linux
    Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn @ 2.6GHz
    4GB DDR3 SODIMM memory
    Intel onboard graphics
Slow and very hot running old 80GB SATA laptop hard drive
    Crisp NMB keyboard
1680x1200 widescreen LCD (taken from a dead T61p that had the dreaded Geforce of doom)
Works great as a simple browser and Youtube machine, can't complain.

    ^ Wow.

Last system I owned that only had 3GB of ram was my Desktop in 2006. That is brave sir and must have the patience of a saint.

    Life?!...What console is that on?

I intend to upgrade it to 8 GB once I can. I was stuck with a desktop that had only 512 MB of RAM as late as 2012, though.

2 GB is perfectly fine on 32 bit Windows 10 as long as you are a bit careful (ie using LTSB version or removing metro apps, using Firefox instead of Chrome, etc etc)

    Lenovo 710-25ISH IdeaCentre with a i5-6400 Skylake running Windows 10 Home 64-Bit 1803 Build 17134.228
Lenovo 3642 Motherboard an Intel H170 chipset with installed BIOS FWKT91A 6/28/2018
FSP Group FSP250-30AGBAA 250w 80 Plus Bronze OEM PSU with a 10 pin ATX
EVGA 04G-P4-6251-KR GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming using Precision XOC 6.0.9
G.SKILL F4-2400C15Q-4GNT Value DDR4 4x4GB Kit but running 2133MHz because can't XMP on H170 chipset but it was cheaper than 2133 at the time
Seagate ST1000DX001-SSHD-8GB Hybrid Drive 1TB + Seagate ST31000524AS Barracuda HDD 1TB both are OEM drives one just from old system
    Pioneer BDR-209M Blu-ray Burner the
BDR-2209 bundle with Cyberlink software suite
    AOC E2475SWQE 23.6'' 1ms TN 1080p 60Hz Monitor via Athena Power CLH-DP0612MM28 DP + Samsung UN32J5500AF 1080p 31.5'' TV via Belkin F8V3311B15 HDMI
    Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II

Edit: Have the OEM keyboard and mouse hooked up but barely use them, like to sit back and use the wireless Logitech K400+ keyboard which is nice because the touchpad can do pinch & zoom stuff and when gaming the Logitech F710 gamepad with Rayovac Recharge Plus batteries same for the keyboard.

My current build features a power supply, case, motherboard and CPU that is now 7 years old... but with some updated components I've managed to have it keep up more or less over the years...

    Intel DZ68BC motherboard
    4 - 4gb Kinston HyperX 1600 DDR3 ram modules
SB i5- 2500k clocked to run at 4.2 but averages about 3.8 - 4.0 on actual multi-core loads
Soudblaster Zx for dedicated sound and recording
Intel 120gb 320series (OLD) SSD as the primary boot and OS drive
2 - WD 1Tb black 7200rpm drives in RAID 0 for 2TB total storage as game and video/audio editing drive
2 - Sandisk 480gb Plus series SSDs in RAID 0 for just under a 1Tb secondary game drive for most modern high end games.
Corsair H60 120mm AIO for cooling. My case is also older and designed for external water cooling not internal. As a result I don't have room in the system for dual 120mm or larger.
Corsair 1050watt power supply to keep it all juiced

Everything is installed in a large Antec 902 gaming case.

Again it has really only been recently that I've started to feel it aging.

Ben playing Xbox games in high/ultra settings with no issues in visuals and performance.

So I will go from weakest to strongest.

    HP Laptop
    I3 Intel 4005 series 1.7GHZ Dual-core 4 threads
    6GB of DDR3 Ram
    Intel Graphics.
    500 GB HDD
    DVD Drive

Yeah, that's just an email machine lol.

    Asus
Intel i7-3600 series 2.3GHZ but could be overclocked to 3ghz 4 cores 8 threads.
    16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Ram
    GTX 660M 2GB
    Two 1 TB HDDs.
    DVD Drive

Finally my new laptop I use as my main. Other 2 are now backups.

    Acer Helios 300
    Intel i7-7700 2.8GHZ 4 core 8 threads OC to 3.8GHZ
16GB DDR4 Ram 3200MHZ (thought it was 2400 before but CPUZ says differently so cool!)
    Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
    256GB SSD and 1TB HDD/SSD Hybrid.

I won't get into ports on the side as that seems silly.
Forgot to mention my Acer is hooked up to a Keyboard and mouse plus a 1080P HP Monitor. Got it for $100 last year. 22inch. Speakers are just some USB speakers I bought some time ago from Logitech. I may replace them at some point in the not too distant future. Want something a little louder.I use an Xbox One controller for most games I want to play. Recently been hooked on Re-Core.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I also use a 1986 IBM Model M keyboard.
ALL keyboards (not on laptops at any rate) in my house must be mechanical click.
Mech. click laptop keyboards would be awesome, but they are nearly nonexistent these days.

Once I refitted a Mac keyboard to use clicky Alps switches, it felt and sounded fantastic. Had to sell it though, sadly
