Why wasnt this finished or released ?

I don't even think it was gonna be a game in development. It was a tech demo for Raylight Studios' BlueRoses engine (the same one that was used on many of their GBA games, like Wing Commander Prophecy and Smashing Drive)

It definitely would have been awesome to see it, though.

Resident Evil 1 on the GBC:



Unreleased until Jan 2012; about 98% complete, was scrapped at the last min but was dumped by a collector wanting $2,000 for it. Two builds can be found online.

I dunno; the game doesn't look fun. Of course, I was never a big RE fan.
