I enjoy playing World Series of Poker 2008 on the Xbox 360. It features all of the pro players on the tour, as well as fill-in players for you to destroy along the way through a tournament. It also has an online mode, but I've never bothered to play it.

While it's not really the videogame version of an existing boardgame, Culdcept Saga on the 360 is a very enjoyable boardgame that uses cards to battle for sections of the board. It has an online mode as well, that I've used to play against an editor over at Game Critics.com, but I haven't played anyone else online with this game.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

A friend of mine had a board game about space dogfights. It was super-complicated and a real chore just to get through a few turns before we gave up on it. He later got a computer version of it that was really good. We played the computer version of it many times. I can't remember the name of it for sure (Interceptor Legion?) but it was from the 1990's for the Amiga computers. I remember hoping they would make it for the Genesis.

I would play real boardgames more but finding other players is next to impossible. I have trouble finding people to even play chess. At least with the videogame versions, I can play against the computer if I can't get others to play. But usually, if I pull out any kind of videogames, other people are willing to play even if it's a turn-based game.

You know which game feels like a board game and is relatively good?
