No Shatterhand, Powerblade, G.I.Joe: a real american hero or James Bond JR?
Have to agree that Guardian legend shows up a bit too often, I mean even Journey to Silius shows up less :Y

If I had it to do over I would probably swap out Kirby's Adventure with Jackie Chan.
Oh, I'm sorry haha I got the lists confused.

I'm not sure how obscure it is but I absolutely love Gunnac. I had never played this game or seen gameplay footage before I picked it up a couple years ago. When I popped it in I couldn't stop playing until I beat it.

Gunnac kicks ass. I don't know how in the hell Compile managed to pull off so many sprites on screen at once. They were constantly exceeding the scan line limit too. I don't think Recca is as impressive as Gunnac.

It's a pretty good list though Guardian Legend is hardly overlooked as has been mentioned. Also Gun Nac isn't exactly cheap but I guess it's no Mighty Final Fight.

I've played all of them except Felix which I really want to track down now, but on that list I only own New Ghostbusters II which I absolutely adore and Bucky O'Hare which is a pretty good Mega Man clone from Konami.

He also gives a well deserved shout out to Metal Storm which in my opinion is one of the best action games on the NES, period.

Guardian Legend must be a little obscure, I just hit two stores in Fort Worth with a wall of NES games and neither of them had it. So I picked up Spy Hunter, R.C. Pro Am, The Legend of Kage, and Alien Syndrome instead.
