You heard about Redux, right? A sequel to DUX, that also comes with the updated DUX 1.5.

Pink Bullets was the latest Last Hope, though, right?

As a Turrican fan, I gotta say, this game looks awesome. Specially since it's based on Turrican 2 and not the sequels (Turrican 2 was the masterpiece). As much as I like Super Turrican 2 and Mega Turrican, this seems to be a lot better.

    What's new in Dux 1.5?

Don't think they've said. I'm sure it has to do with that stage one bug that allowed people to get infinite points, plus other stuff.

Looking at the list of independently-developed Dreamcast games, I'd say I'm only missing Dux and Sturmwind (when it comes out) from the ones that I want. I noticed Redspotgames is also selling "Wind + Water" together with Sturmwind; so I might get that if it's not too much of a difference. But I don't see myself getting the other puzzlers or that racing game, though.

I've got Wind and Water, it's pretty slick. The menus and presentation remind me of Pier Solar for some reason. I have Rush Rush Rally Racing as well, and it's a good game if you're into that Micro Machines / Combat Cars style of racing. It displays oddly in my screen though, but it was worth the 11 Euros I spent on the Deluxe edition back in April. Just not sure if I'll ever put a bunch of time in it.

The only one of those others I'm interested in is Irides. Maybe.

LOL, well sort of but that list is wrong. They forgot Cool Herders, Maqiupai, and Inhabitants. Add on Feet of Fury and Frog Feast and it's like 5 games I'm not interested in.

Yeah, "Pink Bullets" was the last one. That game left a bad taste in my proverbial mouth after the repeated updates, and the constant denial of the developers that the updates were like full-priced patches (yeah, that's why they kept addressing complaints and fixing bugs). It made people like me (who bought one of the earlier versions) feel like we were paying to be game testers.

And no, I hadn't heard about it. I remember Dux being pimped on another website, and giving feedback about it one of the people working on it (some of which was actually used).

Currently Reviewing: Desert Strike (SMS), Galaxy Force (SMS)
    Coming Up:TF3 Side by Side
Done: Jim Power: The Lost Dimension

I don't remember Fast Striker having similar issues...maybe they're getting their QA act together, or maybe it just didn't suffer from extensive design flaws like the original Last Hope.

It looks like Duranik's long-awaited Sturmwind will support the SD Card... That would be amazing if that means downloadable patch/updates of some kind. But I'm not counting on it.

Wow, they managed to "kickstart" a budget of $25,000 almost immediately. I'd rather they would've put that money towards a new Dreamcast or NG game, though.
