I've talked to somebody about this guy. I guess he just does this on the side so he doesn't get on too much. I would suggest being patient and i'm sure he will get back to us in time.

I'm interested but I'm cautious on how you obtained over a hundred thousand cover arts all for genesis and yet doesn't have manuals and official cases. No story on how you obtained them.

Makes me suspect high quality reproduction scans where you can't tell difference.

I made multiple purchases from bwild22, and overall everything was great. They definitely weren't repros; most of the inserts were in great shape, a few had stickers or mild sunfading, and the cardboard sleeves were seldom pristine. I got some pretty rare items from him, though I missed out on a few as well, e.g. his last copies of the inserts for El Viento and No Escape.

He's since sold his stock to Schiggidyd (I hope it's OK with S. that I mention that).

Yeah, I've talked with Schiggidyd about buying some before so I don't think it's really a secret. He was listing them on NA and DP for awhile, I think he's selling some on ebay as well.

When I talked to the OP of this thread before I believe he said they were a buyout from an ex-rental store, that's normally how you get stuff like this in such quantity. I've gotten a buttload of manuals that way.

I'll add that I bought two lots from Bwild over the years (around 40-50 inserts total), and the inserts were definitely legit. If Schiggidyd is selling from the same collection, they are fine. I only wish I had bought more from Bwild back in the day. He was always willing to cut a deal even with the rare ones.

Yeah, bwild22 pretty much charged $1 an insert across the board. The only thing I remember paying more for was Grind Stormer. But Schiggidyd has been pretty reasonable as well, especially if you contact him directly instead of going through eBay. I've still got bwild22's old google spreadsheets with his inventory and its kind of wild to look back at how just how many inserts he had for certain games: 454 for Aladdin, 399 for Bonanza Brothers, 137 for Captain America and the Avengers, 155 for Castle of Illusion, man just ridiculous quantities

Not a problem at all. Bwild and I worked out a mass-deal, and he drove MANY states, with the sleeves in the back of his truck. His wife (or fiance at the time? I can't remember) wanted her space back, and bwild wasn't interested in game stuff much anymore. I think I'm pretty fair, but I am amazed he charged so little for so long.
I'm the guy with GENESIS artwork for sale. PM me a list of what you need!
