Virtua Tennis 2: Max Level for King ?

I'm almost done playing Virtua Tennis 2 on the Dreamcast, which is really fun, especially at 2 players. Not even tried 4 players, or playing with a fishing rod, yet!
Right now, I "only" have to beat King and Queen, so I could unlock their stage.. Freakin' impossible, seriously.

I've also unlocked the caracthers, King and Queen, but I'm wondering about something; everytime I beat the Tournament Mode, they go up by one level. Right now, they're at Level 7.

Is there a maximum level? Level 10, maybe?
I can't seems to find this info anywhere. All I find, is Virtua Tennis 3/4 stuff.

EDIT: Huh, seems like the maximum level is... 99 !
