Hello,
I got a master system from goodwill and it work's great but, both the reset and pause button reset the system.
I have cleaned the motherboard, so I do not know why it's doing this unless sega put 2 reset button's on my unit.

Well either in in any case, pause button should not be linked with asic reset pin. If yours do it it seems you have short circuit somewhere on your reset pin line. I suggest you to check the ASIC reset pin lead and find if there is scratches or something in it.
