Just watched Conan the Barbarian... excellent stuff!

Oh man, Conan fucking rules. That's a top 5 movie for sure.
Some asswipe stole my DVD copy! I need to pick it up again, no one should go as long as I have without watching Conan, it's that good for reals.
Fearless Hyena is an amazing movie. I highly recommend from that era. He maxed out at Drunken Master 2 and Rumble in the Bronx/Supercop in my opinion. I will always remember that Jackie Chan.
And if you want a Jackie Chan date movie, the film Gorgeous is fun for you and the lady.
S A V E R U S T Y
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
Funny you say that because the last movie we watched at home was Gorgeous... after watching it again (been a long time).. it seemed a little on the cheesy side.. but i guess it could be considered a romatic action comedy... also the version i have has probably the WORST english dub ever.. Jackie didn't even record his own voice.. (considering the time it was released.. is odd)
Showed a buddy Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and he loved it. Then a few hours later we hit up a cheap theater to see I Love You, Man.
I Love You, Man was decent but I'm glad I paid $1.
Then a few days later we went to a tiny independent theater in Cleveland Heights and saw The Brothers Bloom.
The Brothers Bloom had an AWESOME first hour, but then it just slowed down at a particular point and never picked up. Overall disappointing.
And Rachel Wiez's ass was in The Brothers Bloom.
Just saw Up.
FANTASTIC movie! Probably one of my favorite Pixar films to date.
My Cousin's Wife put on Twilight this afternoon. I fell asleep ten minutes in. Woke up, movie had ended, and I cracked open a beer for my troubles.
I think Wall E is still my favorite, but I loved Up. Pixar really knows how to create some emotional moments.
Somewhat interesting: one of the trailers before Up was a new traditional Disney cartoon. The Frog and the Princess? The Princess and the Frog? Something like that. I just thought it looked terrible. Leading up to the trailer were these scenes from Disney classics like Pinocchio, Aladdin, and Lion King. When they showed the new film, it looked pretty stale by Disney animation standards, and the story seems REALLY uninspired. Really disappointing.
