"Does your God know fear?"
Watching Thinner right now on AMC, pretty terrible.
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

It was awesome and just what I wanted. I'm not getting all the negativity. It was an excellent prequel. I really hope they continue elaborating on the series.
Unknown(2011) Just watched it, and it was pretty good. Liam Neeson always delivers.
^Really? That movie was as predictable as 2011 can bring. Perhaps it would've been awesome and innovative in the 80s and 90s, but we've seen this so many times already...
Tales from Earthsea. It was... interesting. Since I'm a fan of the books, I was a bit disappointed :/
Downed a few beers and now watching The Fog (1980) on Netflix streaming. And in HD! Fun times ahead!
Side note, watched Ghoulies last night. That movie always cracks me up.
What's really funny is that the trailers for AvP2 weren't dark at all. They changed it later for the Theatrical release.
Watched The Son Of No One starring Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta, Al Pacino, Katie Holmes and Tracy Morgan. A downer of a film, and not just because of Tatum's acting skills lol. The subject matter wasn't cheery by any means.
The last movie I watched was the British film Kes directed by Ken Loach.
Even though it was really hard for me to understand most of what the characters where saying because of their thick accents, I was mostly able to understand the overall plot of the film by the actions of each of the characters. The way the movie's shot is very similar to a documentary film, takes were fairly long, and the vast majority of the actors are untrained so they preform the exact same way as they act in real life.
The main character Billy Casper feels completely hopeless because more than likely, he's going to end up working in the same mine that his older brother does, school doesn't interest him a whole lot either. One day he decides that falconry is something that would interest him a lot,so he catches a kestral and decides to train it. For the first time, he finally gets praise from his English teacher when he shows the kestral to him.
(I know most of you don't care but there's spoilers ahead)
However, any hope that Billy had once had is crushed at by the end of the movie when his brother kills his kestral after Billy spends his brother's money on Fish n' Chips instead of betting money on a horse that he was sure was going to lose.
The movie isn't all grim though, there's a really funny scene in the middle of the film where a gym teacher played by Brian Glover plays football with Billy and his classmates.
It's a movie I'd encourage everyone to watch at least once, but it certainly is not for everyone. One thing that I can't really understand is the DVD my film teacher had of this movie, it had another dub that was supposed to be slightly easier to understand, but no subtitles at all. I really wouldn't mind watching this movie with the original soundtrack and subtitles, for me it certainly would be a lot easier to understand.

The Stepfather(2009) - It was okay. Nothing great, though.
