Batman (1989): Pretty good, actually. Having never seen a Batman movie before, I was pretty surprised. If I had to throw out one complaint, it's that the movie seemed to run out of steam and got kind of slow near the end.

Looper. It exists. I don't want to overhype it or anything but you know...it's in theaters. You could go see it, if you want. Not like it was the best Scifi film since The Matrix or anything. You know.

Don't have it, haven't seen it (that I know of)
I watched Starship Troopers: Invasion. It's a CG movie set in the ST universe, directed by Shinji Aramaki. There are even CG boobs, but other than that the story and action was a little bland like they were trying to go for drama but hit snore instead. Actually I think the real problem is that it should have only been 30-45 minutes and was drawn out too much. Go watch it if you like CG boobs though.
The Avengers: Going under the godawful UK title of "Marvel's Avengers Assemble!" (*shudder*). I'm gonna keep this short, I liked it. Definitely lived up to the hype and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Thor (2011): This was good too, if a little boring in places and the ending was a little...lacking. Hopefully the sequel will build on it.
Fire and Ice
I love this movie. I've had the VHS for years, but only recently got the DVD. The crazy rotoscoped animation isn't really all that bad. Some parts are really good.
edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that Robert Rodriguez (greatest director ever) has bought the rights to do a remake of it. I hear he is planning on making it after the next Machete and Sin City movies.

Looper: Great film. I was skeptical about the previous, but it turned out to be an excellent film.
Hotel Transylvania: Dull film. My girlfriend liked it, though.
Not sure if this has been brought up, how many here have seen the pictures of the new robocop suit?
I for one think it's way too slimmed down, too streamlined and bland.
Looks kinda' like batman's suit + iron man's suit.
What they've done to ED209 is even more horrifying, he now looks like a michael bay transformer.
Still have to watch the movie though, but I'm not a big fan of the changes.
I say the movie should have been called E-Swat.
"... If Sony reduced the price of the Playstation, Sega would have to follow suit in order to stay competitive, .... would then translate into huge losses for the company." p170 Revolutionaries at Sony.
"We ... put Sega out of the hardware business ..." Peter Dille senior vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment
"Sega tried to have similarly strict licensing agreements as Nintendo...The only reason it didn't take off was because EA..." TrekkiesUnite
Just wanted to say I can't wait for Argo on Monday!
I dig the helmet. Hate the suit. With today's technology, they should definitely show him off without something that looks like a suit some regular guy is wearing.
I hope they cover that right hand also, cutting-off all the limbs (even the good one) added to the plot and character development in the original.
I also read somewhere that they're going to add lights to it afterwards with CGI
If that's the case, wow. Really cutting the costs.
