Watch your back, shoot straight, and never cut a deal with the dragon. (from Shadowrun)
Sonic Boom all the way. It matches the video better. That toot toot sounds way too off key for what's taking place in the animation.

I'm going to revive this topic and say I don't like either. If someone made me chose I'd go with the You can do anything/toot but that's a stretch.
I know it's not part of the topic but the best they did with music for the intro and ending videos was the instrumental versions on the HD re-release. Without the lyrics I think both fit really well in the game.

I enjoy both the US and JP intro music
I was just playing this game last night. It's great HOWEVER when you bounce of springs you just fly straight into enemies, not in a ball which has killed me too many times and gets annoying.
How is this game played? You need to go back in time for every level and fix the Future? You have to get the emeralds how again?
FYI never ever beat any Sonic game unless it was on a Game Gear. Never even played 3 although I have it.
You can beat it in one of two ways. The first is to travel into the past versions of each level a destroy a "robot generator" (you'll know it when you see it, not the metal sonic thing) to create good future in every zone.
The second is to collect 50 rings in a level and to jump into the giant ring near the signpost at the end of the level (like Sonic 1). Once in the special stage destroy all the UFOs in the given time to be awarded a Time Stone. I don't recall how many there are but once you get them all every future in the game becomes good.
The second method is far easier IMO.

Thanks, had no clue. Again I believe the game is flawed in that you aren't in a spin ball when bouncing so you are WIDE open. However it is still the best IMHO in terms of grafx and presentation. Sonic 2 the best over all.
What I don't get is that it runs the Sega CD software right? Faster CPU and all yet it still has slowdown especially when you lose rings, why is that with the upgraded software?
