My package has arrived as well. Though I am a bit nervous as the box looks to be a bit crushed on the one side, and I can feel the contents sliding around quite a bit inside. Would it be too much to ask whomever my Secret Santa is how fragile the item(s) they sent me are? I know some of what I asked for could take that beating(Cartridge games, some accessories, etc.), but on the other hand some of what I asked for possibly couldn't (Disc based games in Jewel Cases, some accessories, etc.).

I mailed my package a week or so ago. I haven't had anything arrive here yet.

I brougt my package to mail today! Since it's just going to another corner of Germany it will arrive either perfectly on Christmas or somewhere around the end of this week. My packaging was... adventurous. Took several packagings I got from ordering games and other things in the last months and used them all together to create one big package. It's very secure and all the stuff will arrive unharmed, but it doesn't really look like a present. I hope it's not a problem.

Well I came up with an easier solution. I had my brother open it, check it, then tape it back up. He said everything in it looked ok.

Sent out my package yesterday. Hope everything goes okay, I've lost a bit of my faith in most parcel services recently, but hopefully this one arrives as it should.

He could have waited even further. Packages need 2 days typically to get shipped inside Germany.

Well, in the Christmas season the German post gets slightly slower. They made a deadline of 19.12 for all post that has to arrive before or right at 24.12. So today would be the very last moment to send any presents or giftcards and such.

But normally post takes two days to arrive, if you pay extra and take the express option, it will arrive within 24 hours even. Maybe it's because the "Deutsche Post" isn't a monopoly, at least not for everything except normal letters.
