Genesis Bottom 20

This list will compliment your personal top 100 lists. Now is the time to make known to the community what we think are the true, absolute shitters on the console. I reccomend you include games you've played long enough to get a good feel and more importantly, of a genre that you like but felt didn't fulfill its expectations, so as to avoid bias towards a game that could be good for fans of said genre but not in your taste. It can include unlicensed originals, but not pirates or pirate ripoffs.

Absolutely insane with Virtua Racing, plays so good on the Sega Genesis, Virtua Fighter 2 is flawed but the control is there. I hate the Strider Series but Strider Returns is indeed a quality game for certain. I liked Hard Driving even though it is poop.

Yeah, Strider 2 is pretty bad, but it's definitely not among the worst games on the system.
Also, I don't understand how you could count Captain America among them, that game is fun as hell.
Budokan, Shaq Fu, Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Racing all have their flaws, but aren't terribly bad.
His other picks can't really be disputed, I suppose.

Time Killer is so badly made (At least for 1995 year... It even has sound plagued by random noises) that it can fully take whole "bottom 20" list, for my tastes... Well, or at least 2, for having American and European "versions", hehe.
Fill everything else with those few casino games on Genesis, game shows, some unlicensed games, Slaughter Sport, Fantazia (Though graphic weren't bad there at all) and Wayne's World... Well, and some others, but I think it's probably already more than 20.

My problem with Virtua Racing is that without save RAM to record your best times, the whole game becomes kinda pointless. The Japanese release of the 32X version had it, but all the other releases don't -- and at $99 MSRP for the Genesis game, it's a pretty inexcusable omission.

As a shmup lover, XDR X-Dazedly-Ray is one of the MOST insulting games ever to be considered or be called a shmup.

Sounds like somebody hasn't played Earth Defend or Magic Girl (I swear these are the same piece of shit with a sprite swap)--you'd have to turn off your overclock to properly despise ED though.

And as much as I'd like to question some of the other choices here there are only 6 lists out of 50 posts. Boo.

Personally, Super Thunder Blade is one of my least favourite games i've recently paid money for (a whopping £5!), so awful.

Oh I know of there existence but the thing about them is. They weren't Official Sega releases, that's why I can't believe they approved of XDR to be an official game of there library.
