Having been a Saturn collector for a very long time, I have to say about 75% of the games that you regularly find over the $80 mark are complete crap.

Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is one I actually wanted though, I didn't want to drop the dough on it, so one day I decided to emulate it, pretty glad I never bothered.
Ever tried injecting a ROM into a VC wad? It's perfectly possible. Until someone pointed that out I totally forgot that I was playing it via an injected wad and that Earthbound isn't actually available on the VC tbh.
Super Tempo and Tryrush Deppy weren't worth whatever the price I paid for them 12 years ago. I will say this it is amazing that Final Fight Revenge is worth so much now. That game sucked ass. I knew it was going to suck when it first came out but it was one of the last Saturn games and I got it for 24.99 brand spankin new. If anybody wants to know of a cheap halfway decent Saturn import then I recommend Willy Wombat. It's not a great game but not terrible and it's priced to sell for the time being.
Super Tempo should be a $300 game.
It is that unique.
A like burning rangers, but i don't think it's worth the price.
I wouldn't say Burning Rangers is complete crap. Is it worth the $100 it tends to be going for these days? Definitely not. Though I'd say around $60-$75 would be a fair price for it considering it's limited print run. That's what I paid for my copy a few years back.
Alot of expensive Saturn games though are over rated and not really worth the $100+ they go for. Some good examples are as follows:
Magic Knight Rayearth
Albert Odyssey
Guardian Heroes
Radiant Silvergun
Psychic Killer Taromaru * Worth more than the others, but not the crazy price it goes for
Hyper Duel
Shining Force III
Dragon Force
Super Tempo
These are not bad games or crap games by any means. However I don't feel they are worth the $100+ they go for on ebay. Which is why I have yet to pick up most of them. I'd say they are definitely games I'd put in the $60-$85 range, but not the $100, $150, $250, or even $600 some are going for. I understand some are truly rare with low print numbers, but the game themselves are not worth $600.
almost of those games are worth 100% imo. why not? I rather have 10 of those games then a new tv or something.
They didn't used to be. Lately prices on some of these games have been going up rather stupidly.
Because as a game they are honestly not that great. Some are good, but again not worth over $100 for when there are other cheaper games equally as good. Ebay prices and stupid vanity collectors are killing this hobby for myself and many others.
If you want them in good condition they are. I just did some quick searches on Ebay. All copies that were in good condition with Cases and Manuals were in the $100+ range with maybe one or two in the $89-$99 range. The only one that wasn't was Guardian Heroes, which thankfully seems to have crashed with the XBLA release. There's still one or two sellers hoping to get $100+ for it, but it's pretty much around $50-$75 now.
No game worth more than $50 in my book.
