No! No to the word 'add'. There are something close to 735 official US Genny games. Right now there are just under 35 members officially signed up. Rounding up to 35 that makes 21 games each. 1/4 of the US Genny catalogue is sports titles. That makes 5 sports games each. The 32X library is none too popular. So let's not add another 1 1/2 games per participant, games that probably won't be well received, when everybody will already be attempting to cover at least 5 games he doesn't love.

Save the 32X and SCD to round out the MD JP exclusives year. And after another year of collecting you'll probably own every good JP exclusive.

Hardest thing about Shadow of the Beast was working out what the hell you were supposed to be doing, with a FAQ or video its probably not that hard

I owned that game when I was a kid, after years of playing it I still didn't know whether to start by going left or right, and when I did start by going left (if I managed to do particularly well that attempt) I would usually die trying to punch that giant skull-jaw machine thing.

Besides, Not everyone has a 32x, so including those games would only increase the playload of those that have one, so for those it'd be an even higher average. Let's just concentrate on Genesis proper.

I wouldn't consider most "sports" games finished just by beating one exhibition game. Even if you could skip to the championship, I wouldn't consider that beating it, either. It would be like saying you beat Sonic the Hedgehog if you only played through the final level. Part of the challenge is making the playoffs, another part surviving the playoffs, and the final part is winning the championship. Even a simpler game like Jammit!, I wouldn't consider that beaten unless you beat it with all three characters since they each have different strengths and weaknesses. But hey, it's your challenge, you can set the bar as high or low as you want, I guess.

I would actually enjoy playing through a lot of "sports" game for this challenge. But there is so much hate / negativity towards them that I'm not sure if I want to participate. I like a lot of these games, afterall.

I didn't see it in the rules but are you required to choose a game that you haven't beaten before?

If they are too many games I can do a bit less, of course. And I could do some more if needed (Desert Strike, or maybe PSIII, for example).

Better yet, I'll let the OP choose how many games of those I should do, I don't have a problem with any of them.
