To whoever claimed Phantasy Star II; we did it for Charity (as part of the desertbus.org yearly), setting a new record (at least as far as it's tracked online) at 20 hours 44 minutes NON-STOP. Best of luck, it can be a long old slog through - despite being the shortest in the series. I'll have a look at my collection & commit to a couple in the coming days.

I want to participate, but this thread is a clusterfuck and I don't really know what's going on.

How about your next post be one telling us what sports game you're going to tackle? I know you only collect the cream of the crop games but this would give you an opportunity to slum. You can experience the dirty thrill of your first time opening a Madden box.
Beyond that we're awaiting the New Year. Till then you can take a Mega Drive fast, like me, and focus on SNES.

would you answer the following?

Will we be getting a final Yuletide list of who's claimed what?
Will we be getting a running alphabetized list of who's claimed what? Ie everybody's progressive claims as he finishes games and moves onwards.
(Are those what Spaceflea's documenting?)
Would you place a spoiler tag request in the main post? This is regarding members' proof pictures.
Would you put me down for Strider 2 as well, unless that's too desirable a title?

Personally I think the first post should simply be a checklist of every single Mega Drive game in alphabetical order, every game that's been claimed having a name next to it, and every game which has been completed having a strike through it, a la

Dynamite Headdy - Evilevoix
Ecco the Dolphin - Jerry Coerl
Kid Chameleon -
Sonic 1 -
Sonic 2 -
Sonic 3 - Tmee
World of Illusion - Villahed

etc, etc

This way its easy to see which games have been claimed, and which games still need to be done.

That is captured in my spreadsheet, though I haven't kept up with it for the past couple pages. All the "or" and "maybe" claims are annoying and impossible to document properly. It's put me off, and no one is helping.
