It wasn't really Capcom's cart though, it was just used by them. From what I can tell it was made and released by Sega just like the 1MB RAM one.

I wonder if we could have gotten some decent CPS3 ports with either the 4MB RAM cart or possible a bigger one.
Virtua fighter 3 would be cool too.
Did any 3D games besides that stupid Final Fight thing use the 4MB cart?

Apparently it was pretty close to completion, there's footage shown that's apparently from Shenmue 2 and possibly Shenmue 3 from what I've been told. But having not played either Shenmue games myself I'm not sure how true that is. And there is no ISO of it. What we have was from a VHS tape that AM2 recorded for history. There are two main ideas on what happened after that. Either A) what was done was put on a Magnetic Tape and but in a vault at Sega, or B) it all went poof.
I thought I read some kind of rumor somewhere that there was a contest in Japan where they gave out 3 or 4 copies of the finished Virtua Fighter 3, only to never be able to retrieve them back when they canceled the game? Any weight to them? Thought I read that on segasaturn.co.uk boards somewhere.
Its probably sitting in a closet somewhere, right next to the source code for panzer dragoon saga, a working Neptune prototype, and a working Black Belt prototype.
I'VE GOTTA FIND THAT CLOSET!
Neptune and Blackbelt never got out of the design phase. No working prototypes exist to my knowledge. VF3 and Shenmue are rumored to be in a vault at Sega in the form of Magentic Tapes. Panzer Dragoon Sagas Source code is flat out gone. The HDD was destroyed or something along those lines last I checked.
