I was 4 in 1992, and I remember everything! I was lucky to have slightly older cousins.

That's all that really matters at the end of the day.

Haha just 5 years older than me. My uncle left his atari at my grandmas place so I played it when I was super young like 7 or something. Naturally I enjoyed the popular games like space invaders and pitfall, also this random shmup I can't remember the name of and that tank game.

For some reason I got an Atari 2600 when I was 10 or 12 or something. Don't remember exactly how, just had a feeling that it had been thrown away and I somehow inherited it.

I must've had a half of a dozen games, but nothing outstanding. Didn't have any classics like Pac-Man or Asteroids.

I remember buying Millipede new at the Zellers. It was definitely after the crash of 83-84. If I bought it then it must've been on a clearance sale or something.

Then at some point I threw it away. And of course now I kick myself for doing that.
Canadians game harder because it's colder so we stay indoors a lot more maybe?

In 1992 (after I used self employed money to buy a snes) I was taking the money I earned / found and spending it all at a local variety store that had the taiwanese m5 arcade bootleg hack of street fighter 2 champion edition (which is what my arcade hack was built from). I could have walked just as far from my house to variety stores that had regular legit sf2 ce arcade machines but I loved the m5 hack it was wayyyy more fun. The m5 hack was such a pirate the entire pcb was custom made, even though the roms are compatible with the official capcom pcb (with a little merging and hex copy and paste magic anyway).
