Same glitch happened to me on level 5, I assume it crashed for you as well. Overall it's a good game, but it gets way too hard late game, having to fight like 8 unique units at a time is just too much and gets really fustrating quick; I havn't been able to get past the factory on normal. Stuff like not being able to enter the bar path in level 2, AI partner completely retarded, and enemies still hitting you while you're frozen during your police strike really need to be revised and fixed to make the game a lot better.

yes its indeed very short and crappy the little if nor improvements over the origenal graphic wise and there is more then 10 year diffrence between these 2.

After so many years of waiting in vain for Sega to get off its keister and give us some more Streets of Rage, some of the more dedicated fans over at Bombergames have taken matters into their own hands. What do you mean? This is a fan game, you can't expect it to be of the same quality as the Sega produced games. You who can't even type correctly nor use an edit button shouldn't complain about that.

Also those screenshots are of only a few levels, as this game is Steets of Rage Remix the entire game is mostly about various levels from all the games obviously.

Small error in it, you mention Adam is dead in the real series, he isn't. He just plays a role as an NPC in the two sequels if you watch the cutscenes. Though I heard this before, so I assume you got this false information from the site that made the game. Also trying not to be off topic, but where you compare the two specials (helicopter and car), how do you perform the car special since I was assuming it was 2P's special?

Very nice article, and it looks like the developers did a great job with the game! A true labor of love by the fans, and for the fans.

The flames in the first branching path above Barbon's bar hurt you, but not the goons with guns. Do they have asbestos soles? Axel's trainers just don't cut it, and game saving isn't working either

edit: Dreamcast port. Now. It'll be glorious

It's not really a "final" release. It's more like a beta of the full thing. You can thank the hypocritical masses for that, people were bitching about having the thing released every day on the forums so it was released a bit earlier instead of taking some time to ironing out most of the problems for a public version.
