Oh, yeah, the first one. I haven't tried the update yet.

This may be my favorite post ever.

And yeah, there are still good Sega games on other systems, most of which have already been listed. I will at least look into reviews for any game Sega comes out with. They may not be what they once were, but they still make interesting games and will take some risks with their game designs (unlike most gaming companies).

It's sort of the spriritual successor to Shenmue.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Here is why I think it is amazing. For one the gameplay revolves around driving, flying, and boating. And the Sega ties run deep. I'm only part way into the game but here are some cool Sega things in it. A frickin After Burner stage where the the main theme music plays and you drive on the deck of aircraft carriers. You boost down the runway and take off like a jet and transform I to a plane and fly. The whole stage set in in a naval battlefield. A night stage where your flying through the overworld through the rings and then through bedrooms in nightmare sequences with each lap has a different boss from the game attacking the racers. A Shinobi stage. A golden axe stage. A Panzer Draggon stage where the level opens up playing the main Panzer Draggon theme that is awesome. On the third lap your racing by the dragons and the road drops and you fly to the air with the dragons. An outrun stage. Sambo de amigo stage. Numerouse sonic stages. A Skies of Arcadia stage. Super monkey ball stage. Jet grind radio stages. The list goes on. And little touches like Ristar waving the checkered flag at the finish line. And racers from all generations of Sega history even from obscure titles. This game is a love letter to Sega fans. The graphics are amazing and the controls tight and varied for each racer. The varied flying boating and driving sections switch up on every lap most tracks as well and numerous branching paths. The game has gotten mostly 9 out of 10 reviews and A reviews. I'm having a blast with it. There are even some non Sega properties like Wreck it Ralph and Danica Patrick (ugh). I can't believe how much retro Sega stuff they put in this game.
