I think if people played star fox 64 and panzer dagoon zwei right after another, most people would pick PDZ. Star fox 64 is much more repetitive and bland IMO. Stylistically its uninteresting in comparison as well IMO.
The main thing I don't like about Star Fox 64 is the non-Arwing stages. They're not horrible, but they're not very good.
You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
It's sort of hard for me to judge Night Striker because I haven't really played it. It certainly looks a lot smoother than StarFox, but I'm going to vote for StarFox on this one.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's sort of multipath, the only way you can divert your path is in the beginning of the game, and with an Easter Egg that lets you go to a black hole. The game's story isn't that special, but who cares it's a shooter.
These days, yes it does run a little slow in terms of frame rate, honestly I would have loved it if they'd somehow made it go just a little bit faster but it's still perfectly playable. I love it's soundtrack too, way better than 64s in my opinion.

I had been playing Panzer Dragoon Zwei for a little over a year when Starfox 64 finally came out. I was really looking forward to Starfox 64 too, and went to a friend's house who had pre-ordered the game and the rumble pack so he could enjoy it "fully". Once I saw those muddy graphics and heard that derpy soundtrack that couldn't hold a candle to the original SNES game I just couldn't stop thinking about how great PDZ was. In fact, not having the original soundtrack in Starfox Assault prevented me from even giving the Gamecube game a chance.

.....Er, shit, it looks as if I clicked the wrong poll option, so I guess I'm not with Barone.
Oh well, StarFox is going to win this poll anyway, as it should.
A 32 bit poll would be interesting but Night Striker's always going to be a problem, it's just too little known. Imagine pitting it against Space Harrier, Galaxy Force II, PD, PDZ, StarFox 64...it probably wouldn't beat out Vanark or Jupiter Strike.
Okay, who's going to start the poll thread for Panzer Dragoon Zwei versus Starfox 64?
