I had this thought a couple days ago reading a web-comic that showed someone getting an RROD. Actually, this one:

And I got to thinking... if someone made a game for a current console that worked like X-Men on the Genesis, would gamers be able to handle it? Consoles were pretty sturdy back in those days, they didn't really crash and weren't known for crashing. What if a game had simulated a RROD or Orange Light thing on PS3 or some other type of "crash" like screen that happened in X-Men for the Genesis. People would probably flip right?
I mean, even when I was a kid I never beat X-Men because I thought the game was bad. We've got the internet now so it MIGHT not be so bad... what do you think?
