I want to see a Sega Steambox. Sega's own input hardware, an OEM PC, Steampowered Sega store.
Give it PSO2, the Billy Hatcher PC release, A VF Final Showdown port, Skies of Arcadia HD, Shinobi 3DS
SEGA is the Messiah of Console Gaming.
In July 2013, Exactly 164 months after Dreamcast launched, something BIG will happen at SEGA. Which is "ORBI" the world.
All the NAYSAYERS will be silenced forever when Orbi get's its "Notice of Allowance".

I don't like to be impolite but I'm afraid your talking out of your ass. SEGA has enough theme parks and Joyopolis has been in existence since the 1990s.
Plus what do Party Favors,Ceramics,Magazines,Leather,Blankets and FURNITURE have to do with theme parks?
Nothing.

SEGA makes toilet games... nuf said.
This is the qoute from Jurgen Post January 2013:
"All markets to consumers are important, be they console, PC, mobile, boxed or digital. Digital and mobile especially are growing incredibly quickly but there will always be a place for the console in people’s homes.
For 2013 we are looking at strengthening and diversifying our key pillars further and we will keep looking at new market opportunities for Sega making use of all available "revenue models". And above all, we want to stay profitable."
SEGA is looking to make money in any market they hope to.

...I wonder where i could buy a SEGA toilet game.
anybody know what kind of hardware it uses? I've never seen the tech specs for the toylet before....
I wonder if the hardware is PC based. or maybe it's NAOMI based, which is most likely very cheap nowadays.

I'm going to throw out what I can see as a good move for Sega to make right now:
The traditional console is not profitable to build and sell. I think Sega's best bet is to release a controller peripheral compatible with it's software across all platforms. A comfortable Sega input pad with a touchscreen in the middle of it for 50 bucks, an SD card slot for carrying exported game content or saves between different platforms across a universal API.
It wouldn't kill them like THQ's UDraw if they open up the API to all consoles & PC, make the experience idiot-proof, and have some incentives to shift around the game data. Unlockable content, stat tracking, sharing, in-game features or whatever. They could shop their framework around to other partners, get an OEM like Alienware or ASUS ROG to roll it out with their systems. There's no good reason Xbox is the go-to gamepad standard on PCs aside from it being Windows compatible. There should be a greater and more flexible standard in that market.
It would make the Wii U's main selling point almost irrelevant, and could even extend itself to the Nvidia Shield or smartphones just like Microsoft's smartglass if they don't want to do hardware & just stick to an API. (You would think they would need a piece of hardware to sell the idea though.)
If they did something like that, it would definitely be a "Game gear" or "Nomad" brand worthy API, letting you get value out of a brand-wide infrastructure. I think it would be marketable and successful.
