Aftering seeing Sega's own boards, I gotta say, the members of that site are children.. They spammed the forum with pathetic posts... It's disgusting..

At this point, I hate to say it, but I hope SEGA wins this one.. But only because the members of that site blew it themselves, by not acting civil..

Yes, the reaction of some Sega fans on Sega's boards was ridiculous and childish, but I don't think Sega should "win" for that reason.

Here is what people are doing to Sega's forums.

Overreacting babies? Definitely (especially since they are attacking Sega of America when it was Sega of Europe who decided they did not like sites making fun of Sonic). Is Sega in the wrong anyway? Yes.

I agree somebody should be made to suffer for releasing Sonic Adventure 2.

It shows how far Sega have fallen when they are concerned of somebody mocking their beloved mascot.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an awesome game.

Sega's lawyers would never attempt to take that case to court, because it holds water as well as a spaghetti strainer.

wow, I don't know what to make of this. It seems like Sega is way over reacting on this, but it doesn't help that a portion of the ytmnd fans are also over reacting, which won't help their cause.

So, Sega is pissed that ytmnd has things poking fun at sonic with "derogatory treatment" of the character. Hmm, part of me is saying well what do you expect, have you played a Sonic game in the last 5 years or so? Odds are, it didn't hold a candle to the older Sonic games.

This is interesting, and I wonder what will happen next.

Sega-16 here is using Sonic graphics without permission of Sega of America. Many of you have avatars with Sega copyrighted characters that Sega did not grant you permission to use. Sega needs to come down on all of you in order to protect their copyrights. What if one of you with a Sega® avatar makes a post that does not agree with Sega's beliefs and has lots of cuss words? Sega needs to protect it's copyrights. Regardless of whether YNMTD or whatever the hell it's called is a good site or not, it does indeed fall under "satire" as previously pointed out and there is nothing the UK can do about it, except block the site over there.
