This kinda annoys me, why spend your entire life collecting simply to just sell it all at the end.

This guy who build his own fucking museum.

    IT INFURIATES ME!

It's an italian seller, that's all that potential buyers needs to know, If I had that kind of money I would keep it for something else rather than give it to the Italian customs.

If I had millions of dollars, I would buy it and host a live-stream, showing me drop each piece one by one into a wood chipper.

I have a feeling his target market would be a reseller, but you'd have to be a hell of a reseller to have $500k on hand.

Yeah, that's the problem... you need to be pretty rich AND have an interest in classic games AND feel that there is enough here worthwhile to invest that much cash.
It's just such a low chance it's not worth planning on happening. A reseller might drop 50k on something that looks like a good lot... but 500k? Especially for a 0 feedback account? He might as well have been asking for 100 million.

that's a huge collection, I'd hate to imagine the shipping cost to get all that shipped to another country though.

It's like any other addiction problem. But why not sell it in pieces?
