I didn't know there were books about Sega! Sounds like an interesting read, too bad I don't know French!
Here is a book in english language:
The Rise and Fall of Sega

Ugh, there are no serious historical books about Sega, just journalistic conjecture and drama.
"... If Sony reduced the price of the Playstation, Sega would have to follow suit in order to stay competitive, .... would then translate into huge losses for the company." p170 Revolutionaries at Sony.
"We ... put Sega out of the hardware business ..." Peter Dille senior vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment
"Sega tried to have similarly strict licensing agreements as Nintendo...The only reason it didn't take off was because EA..." TrekkiesUnite
Here in France, the retrogaming scene is quite active and interesting books/mooks had been released :

But books on SEGA are rare that's why I made this thread.
SEGA community is smaller than Nintendo's one so selling books is risky.
But I don't understand : surprisingly the next book of Pix'n Love will be on NEO GEO
SEGA is more popular than SNK or NEC PC Engine hardware. In France, dyring the 90's years,
all this stuff was only available through rare import shops or a few companies (big cities).
